A re-imagining of the classic American steakhouse with the highest quality local meats supplemented with small plates for theater goers and comfort food for those looking for a place to unwind. A bar program that features craft cocktails, extensive wine c
Two of our three ribeyes were over cooked and the kitchen disagreed so we did not reorder. The third ribeye was very tough and charred on the outside. Maybe the other dishes are better but Iâll never know because I will never go back.

Since 1995 the Barrington Brewery has been serving our own Barn Brewed Beer and food made from scratch. We were the first brewery on the east coast to install a solar panel system that supplies solar-heated hot water for brewing and restaurant use.
Stopped here for lunch while on a fall drive through the Berkshires. Nice menu and great beer brewed on the premises. Service was very pleasant, atmosphere is casual and prices are very reasonable. Beer is available for take away also at reasonable prices for a brewery in New England. Recommended if traveling in the area.

Just down the road from the Old Inn is our sister property, The Southfield Store, a hidden gem that operates year-round as a coffee shop/café by day, and a casual late-week dinner option from mid-May until November 1st.
Part of our package at The Old Inn on the Green included lunch here. We were offered soup or salad, sandwich and dessert and were allowed to take it out. Everything was great.

Great location right on Main Street but it is very difficult to find parking on the weekend. Otherwise, we really enjoyed this place. We just had drinks and appetizers but their nachos are fully loaded and delicious. It's a small, cozy place but we love the vibe and decor.

My wife and I had dinner here on a Tuesday night in mid-April 2019. We are senior citizens and tourists, visiting Great Barrington for the first time. The dinner was excellent and we are so glad we chose the Public House. The mussels are outstanding and are served with a thicker-than average sauce with coconut flavoring. My wife's trout dinner was superb. The fish had crispy skin and it came with risotto and brussel sprouts (very tasty). For dessert the brownie a la mode was perfect. Good service. The place is popular and it got crowded as the evening went on. The room is lovely and historically renovated, and the exterior storefront is very attractive, as well. The restaurant is on the liveliest block in town - Railroad St. We highly recommend this eatery.

We've loved stopping in at The Bridge in the past, but we don't get to the Berkshires very often, and regret that they are no longer open during the lunch hour. Their tostada is really special, something I look forward to ordering. In past years they were closed for 4th of July, so this year I called ahead and was told they would be open on Tuesday, July 3. Unfortunately when we got there they had a big sign announcing that they were closed on July 3 and July 4. I wish their staff would provide accurate information.Hi Elsa,This is Michael Dutton, owner of the Bridge. I apologize for your experience July 3rd. Our air conditioning wasn't able to keep up with the heat and so we reluctantly decided to close. There was a note in the front door and an explanation on our Facebook page. There wasn't enough room on our front sign to explain the problem.I also just want to mention that we have never been open for lunch in the 11 plus years we've been here. The previous restaurant Limey's did serve lunch for awhile.I'm so glad that you like our place and look forward to seeing you again.Yours,Michael
