Sandwiches,burgers, meat and stakes, beer and all that pub junk. For sure a very nice place. Need to book it in advance, otherwise you wont get the chance to eat, as it is very little and always crouded!

A normal pub with great choice of the beers, staff were so kind and helpful. the food was so normal. I can accept every criticize; every person may not like the menu, the beers or the pub, but i personally find so offensive saying that the pub or the menu are "so normal". There is a daily searching on the recipes for the platters, the composition of the burgers and for the quality of he ingredients; the same is for the beers.I can understand that many people find that social a game where obtain badges, but the daily work we do is not a game.Have a nice day anyway.

What a wonderful place this is! Fabulous choice of beers including many local ones. The food was gorgeous traditional and locally sourced too. We couldnât have been made to feel anymore welcome. We were helped with the menu as it is quite rightly in Italian and given advice on our choice of beer. We only hope that we manage to squeeze in another visit before our city break ends. Thank you

My wife took me and our friends to her well-known local paninoteca La Giostra this past September, because she wanted to have one of their great panini. I've already had the chance to taste their beers last year, and was already getting also our friends ready for the surprise and... WOW! What a surprise this year!!!Davo, the Owner, was more than helpful with all of the above! He brought us a bunch of different beers to try out, while describing each and every one of them.Thankfully we had my wife as the Designated Driver! Also because 3 (almost) drunk Americans wouldn't be able to find their way back to our places anyway. ;o)**************Mia moglie aveva voglia di mangiare un BUON panino e c'ha portati alla Giostra, con la scusa che noi avremmo gradito la birra. Noi ci siamo gia' stati l'anno scorso, e gia' mi pregustavo la bionda bibita, preparando i nostri due amici per la sorpresa. E... WOW!!! Davo, il proprietario, e' stato molto piu' che utile e servizievole con quanto sopra. Ci ha portato tante diverse birre da degustare accompagnate dalla sua conoscenza e dettagliata descrizione d'ognuna di esse.Fortunatamente io ed i nostri amici avevamo mia moglie come "Autista Sobrio"! Anche perche' sarebbe stata dura per 3 (un po') brilli Americani trovare la strada di ritorno. ;o)

We came here for lunch after visiting Castello di Miramar. The food was excellent with decent size portions, they have a great outside seating area. The service is fast and friendly. The beers were excellent. Really hit the spot after a long morning of sightseeing!

This restaurant is a kind of pub where the best thing is the beer. An impressive menu with dozens of beers (mainly Belgian, but not only) is the strength of this place, where you can eat good but basic specialties of meat, chips, hamburgers and similar items. Another good point of this pub is the cozy, artistic choice of the decorations, very personal, giving a warm welcome sense. Finally, this place is located close to Aurisina, in the highland surrounding Trieste, in an area that is ideal in the summer for walking in the green; thus, is the ideal place to end an open-air afternoon, or to spend the evening with a bunch of friends.
