As another reviewer stated, the place has an ok outdoor seating area but if your a non smoker, you may be infiltrated with the smoke from others lighting up. Food is mediocre and takes forever to arrive. Many times they are out of the menu items. Waitresses don't seem to care about the customer. After the check arrived, I could have walked out of the place without paying as it took at least 15 minutes for them to come back to take the money (as the minutes of wait increased, her tip decreased).

Honestly, some of the best comfort food you will ever have. The wings, pierogi pizza and stromboli are amazing. The boneless wings are not just chicken fingers with sauce, they actually seem to be pieces of wings, which makes them much crispier and juicier than most boneless varieties. You will not go wrong eating here, and the prices for food and drink are outstanding as well.

We stopped in here last night for the first time and it was a good experience. I had Hot/BBQ wings, my wife had Honey BBQ wings and they were both excellent. It was Wednesday Wing Night so the wings were 50 cents each and they had a good crowd. The wings were very crispy and a bit small but that's how we like them. The Guinness Drafts were priced fair at $4.75. There is a large dinning room and a full bar in a separate area. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The place was clean. They have lots of off street parking. I'm looking forward to going back for wings and to try some other menu items.

The new menu is limited but very eclectic! Service is excellent, cozy ambiance and a full bar with decent wine......... a refreshing twist for a Scranton Bar! Daily specials are amazing. Tables of all sizes and the bar seats about a dozen. For a small neighbor good bar it has a very upscale feel.

Four persons had lunch at the Trax Platform Lounge. We were the first to arrive for lunch around 11:30 am. Our server Krista was very pleasant, friendly and continuously apologized for the lack of progress in the kitchen. We waited over an hour for our food and we were the first ones in the restaurant. Several other patrons became every upset with what was happening in the kitchen. When we finally were served Krista came out and said, sorry we do not have any potato chips right now. They arrive about 15 minutes after our lunch arrived. We will think long and hard before returning to The Trax.

P.J.'s Pub at the Hilton is open nightly with drink specials and a "fun" bar menu featuring everything from burgers & wings to salads & wraps.
We ate here when we were too tired to leave th Hilton and look for a restaurant. They had better than average sandwiches. Try the shaved prime rib. They appear to do their own potato chips. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent1

Date of Visit: Friday, Oct 26th, 2018 (lunch)This bar is very unassuming, and simple in appearance from the road, but that is where the averageness of this place ends. This is an absolute must-visit place in Scranton, PA. Beer: Several great beers are on-tap and served very cold. The food: With a menu that is so vast and varied, it can be hard to make a choice. We had the tacos: Sweet & Spicy crab, and the BBQ chicken â with Vanilla Honey cornbread and mac & Cheese. The tacos are amazing. Everything is prepared fresh, and there is creativity in the menu. The flavour combinations are amazing. The BBQ Chicken with corn salsa, jalapenos, and sriracha ranch sauce was spectacular. The Sweet & Spicy crab with pineapple was great as well. The Vanilla bean honey cornbread was to die for â the piece of cornbread they give you as a side dish is huge. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Typical Bar / Pub style place. The restaurant was very well decorated, clean, and enjoyable. The Service: Our waiter was very friendly, and clearly enjoys his job. He was very helpful, attentive, and pleasant. This guy provided exceptional service â not only to us but everyone who came in. The Prices: the prices are great: $10-15 for 2 large tacos and a delicious side dish. Considering the quality of the food, freshness of ingredients, and presentation, this place could be charging a lot more â but we are glad they do not. Parking: there is a parking lot across the street with plenty of spaces for local businesses. This is a phenomenal restaurant with great food, service, and prices. You really gotta eat here when you are in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Understandably it is was a Saturday night, but we were extremely disappointed in the amazingly slow service. Our waiter explained that the kitchen was having trouble keeping up with the extra demand due to their new SpeakEasy next door, but we didn't see any unusual crowds. Its a shame because the food was actually pretty good - not fine dining, but better than your average pub fare. The Flatbread pizza served as a great appetizer that the 6 of us shared. Thank goodness, because it held us over as we waited another hour for our burgers to arrive. When the bill came, our waiter discounted our dinner because of the delays and apologized. So we'll give them the benefit of the doubt and consider that it may have been an off night. But I suggest you make sure you have plenty of time and are not in a hurry to go anywhere if you try Ale Mary's on a Saturday night. We had a 4 hour drive home after this, so it was especially painful.

My in-laws had salmon, perfectly prepared (rare), while my son had grilled chees AND a 5 napkin hamburger.Desserts were great and the coffee outstanding...Definitely reasonable: $250 for the meal (5), corking fee and tip.We plan on going for dinner soon.If you are in Scranton, worth the visit. If youâre just passing through, worth the stop.
