In fairness the food is nice. Itâs burgers, pizza and chips for the most part - which was great for my kids, and the food was very tasty and well presented.... but....They are totally un-equipped to handle the amount of people who go in on market day. Looooong wait even for drinks. ONE high chair in the restaurant (which is very big and seats a lot of people) and even worse ONE toilet for about 200 people. If the wait for service doesnât kill you, the wait for the one toilet cubicle will. And itâs not even a nice toilet.

We went to Hel's Kitchen with local friends on our visit to Sarlat. It was blues night and the two musicians were sensational....a guitarist and harmonica player with a great sound and an enthusiastic local following. It was refreshing to be the only tourist. The food is exactly what you want in this setting. This is a great venue and one of the highlights of our trip to date.

I love this place! The food is incredible! One of the best restaurants in and around Sarlat. Lovely staff, exquisite food, and the lunch of the day menu is always exciting and such good value for money.
