I'm a sour beer nut. When I heard about this place from a coworker, it became a must-visit. Unfortunately, I left a little disappointed.I usually like to get tasters in order to try as much as possible. They have so many on tap that a taster tray would have been perfect. At Toolbox, they only offer a full or half pour. Granted, the guy said that he could give me a free splash of whatever I wanted to try. I tried a splash of their Blueberry X and was underwhelmed.I didn't want to keep asking for splashes, so I decided to just order a half pour of Life Gose On, a half pour of Purple Drink, and their Chocolate Imperial Milk Stout. Strangely enough, the milk stout is only offered in a $2 taster tulip. Hey, can I just get all of your beers in that size glass?Anyway, The Life Gose On was also underwhelming. I enjoyed the Purple Drink, though still not quite there as far as what I want in a sour. I actually thought the milk stout was the best beer we had there.Don't get me wrong. This is a cool place and certainly worth a visit if you seek the sours like I do. The taproom is dog-friendly. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I still left with three bottlesâHaole Honey, Apropos, and Citrus Gose. I wasn't going to get the Haole Honey, but I tried a splash and I enjoyed the sweetness.

We had a large group for lunch on a Saturday. The servers were friendly, fast and courteous. The menu is the ordinary fare you'd expect from a neighborhood café and features a variety of burgers. The outside patio was just right for this warm day and we appreciated the shade provided by the large umbrellas. The group entrée orders pretty much ran the gamut and the portions of everything were large; no one went away hungry. Prices are reasonable. It was a fun place, but nothing outstanding. The location makes it easy to miss, being well off San Marcos Blvd., behind a another business. I've driven along that street many times over the past 15 years and never even noticed it.
Recently opened; this restaurant offers good food and drink and many options for kids and adults to play everything from cornhole to shuffleboard or ping pong. Also has some arcade games and a special play area for the younger kids. Either eat inside or out....bring your dog (they are dog friendly)...and come some nights when they have live music and special prices on food and drink.

It's full of locals, but inviting to anyone. Plenty of good menu choices; I especially like the Cuban. Friendly staff and the owner is often hanging with the patrons. If you want a place with character and good atmosphere, this is it.

This sports bar was a blast! Erin, you were very attentitive and an awesome server! Watched the MLB All-Star game with friends and (adult) family and had great service even though it was pretty crowded. Beverages and food orders were quick and delicious. Haven't had "bar food" in quite a while, glad the girls picked players to watch the game.
I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Grill which is a sit-down grill/restaurant at St. Mark Golf Club. They had a nice selection of food. We ordered the chicken nachos. The white cheese sauce and grilled chicken took these over the top. I also ordered the fish and chips which included a generous serving of fries and 3 nice sized, beer-battered fish. A lot of food. The service was quick and friendly! Definitely will be back!!

Churchillâs Pub & Grille and Horus Aged Ales joined forces for a beer pairing dinner last week. The beer and food were phenomenal!! 8 collaborated beers and 7 courses of fine cuisine. High praise to the brewers and to the chef. Thank you to all the staff at Churchillâs for a fantastic evening.

First I loved that this brewery is not your typical brew pub food.I chose the smoked duck with caramelized onion served on flatbread. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The chocolate peanutbutter stout was amazing. Also have to say the guitarist was extremely talented and added to the dining experience.

OK, call me old, but the weird parking threw us off balance. Donât park at facility...turn around and make 3 rights into a parking garage that has no signage. Hope you make it to the correct stairway...and walk down a construction pathway. OK, we finally found it.Fantastic modern building with multiple outdoor seating areas with modern gas fireplaces. Inside...huge, with a bowling alley to the left and restaurant/bar-to the right. Excellent sound proofing, as no bowling alley sounds extended to the modern bar area.Ordered one glass of wine and two four ounce craft beer tasters and an appetizer. Wire arrived-great. 2 small beers arrived 10 minutes later. Plates and cutlery next. Waited another 10 minutes for our appetizer. Bartender said he wasnât aware we ordered anything - to which we pointed out the plates/napkins/cutlery. Appetizer finally arrived and was OK. Maybe facility is brand new, but timing was way off.

Very good dinner with family, nice atmosphere, very good service, clean tables, very good food and a great selection of beer. If you like a pale ale, try the Full Barley Forge. Well worth the try and a great recommendation by our waitress Alexandra, who was wonderful and very pleasant.
