We were pleasantly surprised with our stop here. They have a great selection of burgers, brats and beer but we both selected a salad and were very satisfied with our orders. I got the guacamole ranch salad and my wife got the vegetable humus salad, both of which were generous in portion. The greens in each were very fresh and the dressings were tasty. The reference to guacamole for my salad is overstated as the amount of guacamole was enough for about 1/3 of the salad. Still, we enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent.

Elegantly set against a backdrop of hand-carved wooden details and stained glass windows, this intimate atmosphere, is ideally located adjacent the Alex Madonna's Gold Rush Steak House. Enjoy your favorite cocktail or bottle of wine and appetizers with ev
Cool area with a full bar. I had the Madonna Cabernet and it was very good! The bar is next to the dance floor so you are close to the music and dancing. The hand carved grape vines are so beautiful and the sitting areas are comfy.

This is a cocktail bar. They have a full bar with beer and wine also and they serve some appetizers. They have a menu with maybe 10 different specialty cocktails that they serve but they have no other list for any other suggestions for cocktails. So being a person who mostly drinks beer and wine, I'm not that familiar with cocktails, but I wanted to try something. The waitress had no other suggestions for me unless I wanted one out of the book and they didn't seem to have a list of other things that you could order. In fact she seemed a little annoyed with me that I would be so uneducated to not know what kind a cocktail I wanted, so I think that was a little offputting to me. I think they should make a list of common cocktails that people like to order to give you some ideas. So eventually I ordered one of the book and it was fine. But I'm not really's sure I understand the attraction to a place like this. I guess is just not my thing I think I'll stick with wine and beer.

I tried some tasters and some little samples of their stronger IPAs. The place was full of younger people out for a few beers and it seems like the craft brewery culture is quite alive in the San Luis Obispo.

This place was absolutely great! The lady who helped us get started was extremely personable and educated us on the establishment, including everything we needed to know in order to get drinks. The food was delicious too. Itâs a very unique property and we all had an awesome time! I would definitely recommend!

Located in the heart of downtown, SLO Brew - affectionately known as "The Brew" - is a neighborhood brewpub featuring our original 10-barrel brewing tanks and copper kettle, fresh local fare, an intimate music venue, whiskey lounge, fireside salon, and cr
From the reviews it is apparent that your mileage may differ, but when we stopped at 4pm Tuesday, service was quick and attentive. The Mango Squeeze was a delightful refreshing summer drink. No doubt the offering of craft beers is equally refreshing. Our special of the day Butternut Squash Soup was so good that we ordered seconds--so rich and so marvelously seasoned. I had a Mac n Cheese with green jalapeños. We confused the desert board special for three selections but, WOW, what a delicious combination, a sweet bread, local strawberry jam, and gelato!!The bar is a feast for the eye. Given the large footprint and Brew's longevity, it is apparent that a great number of drinkers and diners are quite pleased to stop here!

Black Sheep Bar & Grill is your home away from home. You see, the owner, Myriam, has always had a passion for food and drink, so it only made sense to open a place where she could share her love for both in a comfortable atmosphere. Established in 2005, B
Quaint Bar with a little bit of a cowboy theme or old San Luis Obispo. The Bartender was great. Reason large menu. Lots of beer choices. The Western Burger was really good. Fish Tacos just OK. We would go back when in town and try Mac and Cheese.I'm happy you enjoyed the burger, Brian! We're famous for our mac and cheese, so you'll definitely have to give it a try next time. It's fantastic you enjoyed your visit, and we look forward to seeing you next time you're in the area! Take care,Myriam, Mama Sheep

My girlfriend and I were denied access to this restaurant because she had visible tattoos on her arms. We were told that they have a strict policy of no visible tattoos. I might understand for a night time crowd but we wanted lunch.

What attracted me to McLintocks SLO Restaurant was the Farmers Market show outside their front door every Thursday evening. The line was way down the street 20 minutes before opening bell! All these folks canât be wrong! Well they are partly right! We sat on the back terrace that overlooks a poor excuse for a river and ordered ribs and a half smoked chicken.... well it turns out that both were unavailable and out of inventory! So we ordered baby back ribs at their suggestion and chicken breast. The baby ribs felt like they had been warmed up for the occasion and the chicken breast was dry. Fries, camp beans, onion rings and cole slaw were just great. Dinner for two around $50 including small beers. Returning to the sizzle on the street I was impressed with the wood fire, the grills, the teamwork, the efficient feeding of hundreds, the reasonable prices, the smoke and the ambiance but I realized that quality bbq cooking was not top priority. Pre-prepped meats grilled over large fires with chances of significant cooking variations did not affect the enthusiasm of the ravenous crowd. If you really want great bbq check your choices and reviews carefully! One if my passions is visiting award winning bbq joints from east to west coast, mostly Texas, Kentucky and anywhere I can find them!
