I've been a big fan of Drake's for some time. Denogginizer is one of my favorites. So you know I had to make a trip out to see the mothership. The barrel house is in a weird area, sort of tucked behind a Walmart on the edge of an industrial area. I can see that parking nearby might be an issue (though it wasn't for us). As expected, they had a great selection of Drake's beers on tap. Some of the more well-known brews but many not so well known. They do serve food though we didn't eat. And they do allow dogs. They even have treats available. And a quiet jazz duet was playing when we were there. A great visit.

21st Amendment Brewery is a combination of brewery and restaurant operations, but I stopped here for dinks only. Being my first visit to this place, I decided to go with their sampler, and was delighted with all the six selections. They have a wide variety of beers to offer. But I found the price to be on the high side compared to other breweries. They also appear to offer nice food. Being located in downtown area, parking could be an issue if you are driving to get here. But this is a place worth visiting.

SOLA is a great gem in San Leandro. We come here with our 13 year old and occasionally the dog. They have a good selection of beer, craft cocktails, and non alcoholic libations. The menu is seasonal, the vegetarian options are pretty good. Give yourself some extra time to park as they don't have a private lot

Service was excellent but food was a little pricey. I paid $25 for fish and chips and a green salad. It was good... the fish was freshly battered and the french fries also very fresh and perfectly cooked. Love that there is a parking lot... will go back and try something else. Again, service was very impressive.
Where to eat Pizza food in San Leandro: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We visited Cleophus Quealy Beer Company today and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of beers. It is located off 880 freeway in San Leandro in a commercial industrial area. It is located in a converted warehouse. Itâs a small place with just a few tables but it was packed with beer lovers. Dogs are welcome and there were so many dogs it was so cool. We tried the Pog Saison which is a barrel aged Saison with passion fruit, blood orange and Guava. And with a bright, tart ad tropical taste. This was one of the top 3 beers I liked. We also tried the Quadrupel which is barrel aged with vanilla and orange peel. Tasting notes are brown sugar, orange and vanilla. I would rate this no. 2 after the Pog. The Citrus sour was as the name implies- barrel aged golden ale with tangerine and grapefruit with a sour after taste. A bit too tart for me. I also liked the Roggenbier which is a dark Bavarian style rye beer with after tones of spice, banana and chocolate. This was my no. 3 favorite. Each 10 Oz glass is priced between $6-$8. They have a food truck outside selling Mexican food which I thought was quite pricey at $15-$16 for each dish. I would not recommend it. They also have beer to go and have 32 and 64 oz. Growlers. I would highly recommend this place if you are a beer lover.
