Things to do in San Jose

Excellent place for having food and dinner. Always trying to offer a close treat to the client. Our philosofy is based on the handmade products: natural juices, meat of first quality,.. Familiar and relaxed climate.
Waitress gave no help to find table nor wiped it clean when we arrived. Long wait for service. One of our party ordered squid a la plancha, which arrived inedibly undercooked and chewy. No apology forthcoming when she sent it back; on the contrary she was told that other people had eaten the same dish without complaint. Not recommended.

We spent a couple of evenings drinking great Mojito,s ,eating good crepes and enjoying really nice different music, from classic flamenco, modern african dance to what sounded like Spanish ska!!,all laid back (and I hate ska),nice alternative to the typical restuarants in San Jose,if it was on a cliff overlooking the beach you would never get a seat.Just like the bars used to be twenty years ago.One for all us old Hippies:-) .
Where to eat Mediterranean food in San Jose: The Best Restaurants and Bars
While in Pozo de los frailes for vacation, we found in the near town San Jose a very nice teteria where having relaxing time after a day under the sun of the spectacular beaches of Cabo de Gata. There are several teas, pure (including oolong, red, matcha) and aromatic, as well as chocolate and coffee. The staff is very very kind, much different from several other places we tested in Andalusia - it's incredible how sometime a little thing can make a big difference - and, very important, there are also few incredibly good home-made cakes that slightly change every day, absolutely a must to try (all of them, clearly)!
