My ticket for Salem Witch Museum indicated that I could get a discount here, so I went. Unfortunately, the discount applied to food only, & I only wanted a drink. Also, unfortunately, they were out of my 1st choice in beer. But, the server/bartender was friendly, & this was a great place to kill about an hour on a rainy afternoon.

We were here with part of a wedding party the day after the wedding. We had just finished breakfast, so we weren't really hungry, but I ordered a cider and my husband got a drink. We were outside and the people in our party were going and coming, so I'm sure we weren't a favorite, but drinks took a LONG time to come out. By the time we got them, I was getting a little hungry, so I ordered some fries and my husband got nachos. Food took awhile as well. Nothing was wrong with our experience really, it just wasn't super memorable.

Our family had lunch here after visiting the narby House of Seven Gables. This place was a short 5 minute walk for us. We all looked at the menu and decided to give this place a try. The café has a bar area as well. Our family has never been to Salem before and we really liked this cafe and found the food and service to be excellent. We were seated at a table right by the front window and in a perfect location. The menu had a good selection of items for lunch with prices from $ 10 and up for such items as burgers, sandwiches, grilled cheese, shrimp, scallops, nachos, salads and appetizers. Our family had a few burgers which were huge at 10 oz and very filling. They were delicious. We even asked our waitress to take a picture of all of us and she gladly agreed to do this for us.Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere of this cafe and we would visit again the next time we are visiting the Salem area. I recommend this place.

My wife and I went there for a light and early dinner. Both the inside and outside were empty. We chose outside as it was a beautiful day. Our server/bartender did not wipe our dirty table until she saw me wiping it with a napkin from another table. We both ordered a crock of clam chowder which was excellent and comes with tasty cornbread and oyster crackers. My wife received a bag of oyster crackers that was empty and a piece of cornbread that appeared to have had two bites taken out of it. Both chowders were room temperature and needed to be returned to be heated. When they were returned we had no napkins or silverware other than the spoon to eat the chowder. Another piece of corn bread was served that looked no better than the first. No oyster crackers were ever brought. The food was very good, but the service and server were not. Thus, the service diminishes the overall rating. If I could rate this as two separate entities, the the food would rate a solid 4-1/2 stars and the service 0. So, if I add them together I get 4-1/2, divide that by 2, equals 2-1/4, rounded down to 2 stars for bad service.

We spent the day in Salem and wanted to eat in a local restaurant. Small, pub type atmosphere. Our waiter was very attentive and we all had something different and everything was delicious. We started off with drinks I canât remember the names but one was apple cider, cinnamon and Prosecco and I had an apple cider vodka mule. Pumpkin ravioli, Mac and cheese with chorizo and fish tacos all excellent. The Nachos looked decadent and the steak tips smelled and looked wonderful. It was a great choice

Stopped on a hot day for a cool drink. Very enjoyable beer, and friendly staff.Kids entertained themselves with board games. If we are in Salem again, will consider this place for a bite to eat, as food looked good, but we were there just to cool off.

The best Connecticut style lobster roll I've had anywhere, but I recommend ordering it to go. The wait service was terribly slow. I had to ask for our check twice and then after waiting another ten minutes finally had to go hunt down a member of the wait staff to get it so we could pay and leave.

We popped in quite unexpectedly as they were opening just as my daughter got hungry. The big velvet curtains give the impression they are closed, but the keep the cool airless in, just keep going. The cheese appetizer was really delicious. The draft beer options are fun. The turkey sandwich and the Cuban were both delicious. Service was excellent and the manager was friendly.
