This restaurant is in the main street of Meschers. The food served is very good & also reasonably priced. We ate there many times during our month in Meschers & found it very good everytime. We also went for coffee most mornings, my husband likes 'milk & a dash' and they were very pleased to serve it to him, just the way he likes it! The couple who run the restaurant are very hospitable & the atmosphere is always very easy & friendly. We had many an interesting conversation with 'Madam Chef', who is also one of the owners, and speaks good English, luckily for us! Came here on spec and were very pleased. Slightly off the beaten track in a little square. Small tables outside under lights. Food was outstanding, service was accommodating and helpful (with fussy 19 year old) and it was great value. Not speedy and relaxed. Most places in Royan do the same food and this was something different and great. Go there you wonât be disappointed.

We had the Express Lunch Menu at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. A large galette (Ham, Egg and Cheese) with a bowl of salad (nicely dressed) and a sugared crepe to finish for just â¬10.50 per person. The waiting guys were very friendly and spoke English (and also humoured our limited French). A nice place to sit on a sunny day watching the world go by and the yachts in the marina.

Très bon accueil dans ce café, malgré beaucoup de monde le week-end, et surtout un plateau avec d'excellentes charcuteries corses accompagnées de très bons vins!!!! A recommander!
