Whatâs a Hooley, you ask? Hooley (who-lee) â an informal Irish home kitchen party. Traditionally, a Hooley was a social party that took place at a private residence, often in the kitchen. Everyone brought their favorite dish, their instruments, of course
We ate there on 10/6 after the Indians game and the patio had cleared from the OSU and Indians game. Right after we sat down at a high table near the front a guy sat a low table by himself and started smoking. We went in and had good food. I had the burger and fries. Karen had the potato skins and a salad and the service inside was good. But why waste the entire patio to diners when the smoking should be back by the fireplace where it is not trapped by the roof.

A true classic westside of Cleveland neighborhood bar. EST 1936 as Gunselman's Tavern (1920's- 1936 it existed as the Past Time Cafe). New owners as of September 2014 (ownership has only changed hands six times in 90+ years of business) great full kitchen
Fresh, hand cut fries, hamburgers cook to perfection, decent beer prices and happy waitstaff. This is a small bar with a big menu. The salads are made with crisp, fresh greens and an abundance of added items. The fries are fresh cut and fried to perfection. They come with a cheese sauce for dipping. The burgers and added ingredients are cooked as ordered and delicious. Sunday evenings are not real busy so seating is available without a wait. The beer on tap selection is varied and there is something for everyone. A nice atmosphere and there is a nice patio open in good weather.

Have been here several times since my last review and decided it was deserving of a bit more praise. Stopped in for baseball, brewski and buck a bone baby backs...what's not to love? Tommy's is a tried and true local establishment which has a steady clientele. The vibe is casual gathering spot vs fine dining, but don't hesitate to stop by if eating is your first priority. Happy hour and sports time beverage and food specials in a very pleasant atmosphere. Warm weather means trying the exceptionally pleasant deck. Menu ranges form burgers to steaks with Saturday night featuring prime rib. Barbecue is a specialty and well worth a try. I've seen the same staff for the three years I've been coming here, which is a big plus in my book. I've never had anything at Tommy's that I didn't enjoy, and I don't think we can ask for much more than that.

Had a great dinner! Service was Great! Not one frown on any of the servers. Welcomed when we entered, goodbye's when we left. Starting the New Year is just better with a great meal and friendly servers. Never had a bad experience at this Applebee's. Our drinks never went dry. Always asking if they could do more for us. Clean. Bathroom was a little messy. I brought it to their attention. They went in and cleaned it immediately. A great place to eat and drink. Family orientated. Always "In a good mood." It's the place to go for food, service and watching sports any day, any time!

Clevelands finest Italian food, lunch and dinner, "Friends don't let friends eat at chains"
They accommodated a party of 8 nicely. The restaurant is very kitschy and quaint ie: church pews are the seats. Our server, Mary Anne, did a nice job. The food was fast and it was tasty, home-style Italian. They are known for the pizza. Overall pleasant experience.Cregan8256,Thank you, we appreciate the kind words.Chad

Breakfast, lunch, dinner or just grabbing a beer at the bar, Herbs delivers a great experience. Kim has truly brought Herbs back to where it should be. The food is reliably good and the servers and other employees seem to realize what it take to keep customers coming back. Kathleen, Olivia and Danielle deserve special recognition ... they make every experience pleasant and personal. If you live in Rocky River and haven't been to Herbs ... go. If you are from out of town ... go. You'll leave happy.

This is another branch of the Burntwood Tavern in Chagrin Falls OH which opened in Rocky River in the fall of 2011.
I went with friend for a holiday luncheon. We were really disappointed with the server and the food. Our server was sarcastic and non-attentive. The luncheon portions we really, really small. Ridiculously, small. The food looked like âshake it out of a bagâ and cook. Iâm taking them off my âgo toâ listThank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent experience at the Burntwood Tavern in Rocky River. OK I just got back from RRBC and I had a couple of Coopers and a Pepperoni Pizza which was perfect. The crust was crunchy and the cheese and pepperoni were tasty. Others did not eat but one got the cheeseburger and fries and a couple Cooper's. Nice crowd, good bartenders. They were working hard. The beer was good. I was full though and really could not finish the second. Nice place, good prices, clean, good servers and food and they overall do a nice job.
