Getting a lamb rib dinner with 5 ribs for $17. is virtually unheard of. At this place a $20 costing coupon from Groupon gets you $40 worth of food. To top it off, the ribs are made to order and the potato and vegetables are great and plentiful. The Goat cheese -avacado salad is tasty and large enough for two. Sweet potato fries are also a good choice. A good place for someone who likes very decent meals at a great price. (Don't forget your coupon!)
We have been coming to this same place for years under every name and incarnation. It was recently bought by a very nice couple but the place needs some help. We went in the other night to just get a drink, maybe sit at the bar and get something to eat. Well, all the barstools were taken and there none around the 3 bar tables that are out on the floor. As I have been going there for years, there were always enough. The new owners REALLLY need to invest in some. We left and went to another place where we spent our money and had a nice time. I can say that they do have a great happy hour and really nice bartenders. The food is just average, but there are always specials. Please Please Please management...I know equipment costs money, but if people cant even sit down, they will leave.

My friend and I went to Truffles because I had such A great experience the last time I was there.I have to say this time was even better if that is possible! The steaks at truffles are absolutely to die for and the service is fast and friendly.Itâs a smaller place so you feel like youâre at somebodyâs house. there are a lot of locals that eat at Truffles and for good reason. The manager Barry was making sure everything was to our satisfaction and helped us to choose a wine that was an excellent value for the price. My friend said she thought it was one of the best fish dishes that she had ever had... which is saying a lot since sheâs from southern Italy! Truffles Bistro keep doing what your doing. A++++++++Thank you for taking the time to give us such a stellar review. The team takes pride in serving our guests and using the best quality food items. This is an older restaurant. Appeared to be fairly clean though. Our family came to watch TV and have dinner. We had some tasty appetizers- tacos, spinach dip, salads. All fairly good. I had a steak with sweet potato mash. Done just right and I liked it. Everyone else liked their food. Service was good. Nothing to complain about.

Weâve been thinking about trying this place for months and finally stopped in for lunch. We were absolutely delighted. Itâs a pretty, modern, clean restaurant with a focus on freshness. The guacamole was the best Iâve had in years. Itâs chunked, not âsmooshedâ into a paste. We found it flavorful, not spicy. Another favorite was the shrimp and spinach quesadilla. The service was excellent. Canât wait to go again.

Maui Chop House Is a New Restaurant That Provides Unique Hawaiian Cuisine and Island Cocktails to the Rocky Point, NY Area.
Maui Chop House brought them cuisine of Hawaii to the Miller Place/Rocky Point area! First, the atmosphere is paradiseâ wooden tables, tiki Art, tropical music (and not blasting in your ears), surfers and beach scenes on the televisions (yes, sports are played on other televisions!). My favorite piece is the giant palm tree. Now, about the foodâ off the charts delicious. The pineapple salad with mandarin oranges, macadamia nuts, and coconut was a perfect way to start off the meal. The shoyu chicken was amazing. Boneless chicken thigh, yes, boneless thigh cooked in a delicious sweet and spicy garlic sauce made this dish a winner winner chicken dinner. And it comes with two sidesâ I picked rice and the macaroni salad. The valley isle burger was the bomb! I never had a burger cooked with macadamia nuts, beans, and corn really gave this burger a great texture and taste. My burnt brussel sprouts really enhanced the flavor of the burger. But the person next to me ordered the loco mocoâ it looked exactly like the burger served in Oahu! And Iâm ordering that next time I come here. Dessertsâ insaneâ Hawaiian sweet rolls smothered in pineapple coconut butter. Omg! Sooo goooood!! My server Samantha was so passionate about the place and she made the experience here even better than I expected.

Less than a mile from the beautiful Long Island Sound, Oceans 5 Seafood Market and Eatery offers fresh seafood market on one side and an elegant dining experience on the other, Oceans 5 offers even the most discerning food lover an amazing and tantalizing
Upon entering this restaurant you first pass by the fresh fish cases, including some delightful looking prepared takeout dishes. The atmosphere was serene, with tables covered in white tablecloths set against very pale blue wainscoat, oversized black and white photos having to do with fishing and fish markets, and multiple small bulbs on delicate looking fixtures providing soft light. This walk to our table for 3 was to be the best part of the evening! Service was extremely slow, especially given that there were no more than 4 tables of diners. The bread was served with spiced olive oil. The olive oil was very tasty, but the bread, which had been mildly toasted, was cold to the touch and Was not fresh. The salads were quite good and the lettuce tasted very fresh. We waited a very long time for our dinner plates after the salad. Not once did our waiter come to our table to ask anything at all. The young woman who removed our salad plates simply picked them up and walked away along with the bread and olive oil, not bothering to ask if we were done. After what seemed like ages, our meals were brought; 2 of the fish and chips with fresh green beans, and the third of breaded tilapia. The fish and chips were supposed to be beer battered cod. It was so incredibly greasy and overlooked that my plate had a layer of oil from pressing on the gathered fish with the back of my fork. A small part of the batter was burned black. The tilapia looked nice but was mostly mundane and tasteless as well as greasy. I did not eat my meal beyond the first bite because of the oiliness. My dinner partners did, and I heard from both this morning that they did not have a good night due to stomach upset. I returned my fish and chips stating that it was way too oily and it was taken off the bill. As we were leaving the restaurant, we saw in the take out case of prepared food, the very same beer battered cod, ready to be purchased, taken home and reheated. We looked at each other and immediately knew that our fish and chips had already been cooked and no doubt thrown in the fryer to reheat...thus, accounting for the greasiness and very mushy consistency of the cod itself. This was my 4th visit in 3 years, and most likely I won't return. Perhaps it is the seemingly vibrant bar crowd that keeps this place going. I for one will not repeat my visit.Thank you for letting us know about your meal and I sincerely apologize that you did not enjoy your dining experience with us. We take our customer feedback seriously and I have relayed what you have mentioned to the chef and staff. Again, I am very sorry that your visit was less than optimal and if there is any way we can make it up to you we would be happy to do so.
