Things to do in Riverview
We've been here a few times in the early afternoon and it has a "feel good" vib I associate with a nice corner bar. The owner Matt has been there each time and he's engaging. While there's been a different bartender each time, we've been welcomed without fail as they introduced themselves and asked our names as well. The food we've had is above average and there's a nice range of beers that will appeal to a wide spectrum. Good size TVs line the bar. While it's located in the same plaza as Buffalo Wild Wings, The Talking Pint is a neighborhood bar that's a world apart from chain food & chain food atmosphere.

I wasnât expecting the food at this restaurant within a movie theater to be so great. I ordered the Florida Sliders, crab and shrimp cakes on Kings Hawaiian rolls. Our server, Daniel, suggested pineapple aioli instead of the spicy pepper aioli that is standard. He was spot on. The pineapple flavor gave a touch of sweetness that was perfect. The sliders came with chips that were very good (I swiped a few from my friendâs plate!) however, I ordered the soup of the day which was turkey barley and was also tasty. I thought the price at $13 was a tad high for two sliders and a small cup of soup. My friendâs chicken sandwich was pretty standard fare. Overall, Iâd get those sliders again!

I have been going to Kazbors for a few years, and looking back I see I have reviewed them every 2 years. Previous problem with drinks being very slow has been corrected, and the food is still great. Servers are friendly and efficient. The menu has a few changes: the daily weekday specials are no longer offered, however, the all-you-can-eat wings on Thursday are still offered. As usual, they are fantastic...both the bone in and the boneless. I ordered Beef Tips my last time there, they were so good I will order them again. It gets quite crowded around 5pm especially with the snowbirds in the winter.

Well they have finally succeeded in running us off. Very poor customer service. Very rude waitress, which we have had several times, she smarted off to me, and manager came over. He kinda apologized, but after waiting an extraordinarily long time, did nothing for us. Food is average to good, but service really detracts from the experience. We will go to Kazbors. We are sorry you have had these experiences at Beef's in Riverview and regret that you have not been satisfied with their reactions to your concerns. We do have several locations in that area if you are interested in continuing to frequent our restaurants. Send me an email and we can talk further. Sincerely, Jeff [email protected]

This is a locals place where people are really friendly. It is not a restaurant, but there is food available close by. There is lots of outdoor seating, but the place itself is quite small and gets crowded on weekends when there is live music. Hardworking bartenders.

Located out of the way, this gem is right on the Alafia River. Nice outdoor seating as well as indoor. Very unpretentious, but great service, cold beer, beautiful views and wonderful hamburgers. A very simple and clean menu. So glad we were told about this spot, we will definitely be back.

Our first visit to S&V which is located in the strip mall, King's Row, which also houses Big Lots. Mentioning this, because the only overhead signage visible from the street simply states "PUB". Guess the signage does not detraqct from business, because by 6PM there were people standing in line outside. Casual rustic atmosphere dining with a full bar and four tv's. The definite highlight here is the service and the food! We beat the crowd by arriving a bit after 4pm. We were seated promptly and service was friendly and spot on with a team approach. We cannot rave enough about the filet mignon steak and cheese sandwiches with au jus for dipping. The roll, the meat, and the dipping au jus were memorable. The fish and chips also received a positive nod. Highly recommend the peanut butter mousse pie. Will return. .
