I visited here for lunch while having a Daddy/daughter day with my youngest. An absolute gem of a place, friendly and welcoming staff and the food was excellent, piping hot and very tasty. The pub itself if a proper old English pub, nestled down a dirt road in the middle of the common, a lovely peaceful setting.Wouldn't hesitate to return.Dear Tony,It's not very often that daughters allow their dads to take them out (or is that just because I'm an embarrassment to ours??), so well done to you for succeeding and especially, for finding the time to write a review to share your success! We are so glad that the "Skim" ticked all the right boxes and we hope that your daughter enjoyed herself as much as you? Thank you especially for awarding us a 5* rating and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon?

If you are looking for traditional English, This is the perfect pub, built in the 1600âs, within 50 yards of St Johns Church in St. Johns, Redhill Surrey. The Plough retains many of its original features with its low ceilings, wooden beams, original flag
Went with work colleagues for a few drinks and dinner. Nice Gins on offer and great beer & cider choices to please all tastes. We all had fish & chips which were lovely. Hot chocolates for pudding were great, with or without baileys. My only comments are that the ketchup/mayo bottles are really odd and look off-putting (what even are they?!) Also staff need to remember to tell you you have to pick up your own sauce, napkins and cutlery as itâs a shame to have to go and get it when the food turns up. However if thatâs all I can complain about theyâre clearly doing something right!Shoqueen thank you for your comments and we are realy pleased you enjoyed for visit. The ketchup and mayo bottles are called first in first out and are the preferred option for food hygiene as recommended by Enviromental Health, we know they dont look great but they do make sure you dont get old sauce.Regarding the cutlery etc we can only apologise because unless you are sitting outside then these should have been brought to your table before your meals arrived and we will bring this to the attention of all staff. We are pleased these issues didnt spoil your visit and hope we can look forward to seeing you again soon. Many thanksThe Plough

We felt really wanted and welcome in this pub last night. The staff were accommodating, genuinely friendly and the food was more than satisfactory. House wine was £11.99 a bottle, not bad at all, you can have unlimited refills on the soft drinks, and all you have to do is buy a £2-£3 meerkat day insurance and you get buy one get one free on meals here all year around! Three happy customers, well fed and rested before moving on to catch our flight. The staff here really do the brand proud.

This pub will always have a special place in my heart. First date venue for me and my boyfriend 9 years ago. We have re-visited numerous times since, however our latest time, just a quick Saturday lunch was disappointing. Staff that found it difficult to communicate and food was average at best.Jaki, many thanks for taking the time to review your recent visit & I am sorry too hear that we did not deliver to past experiences. If you would like to discuss in more detail please feel free to contact me at The Bell. Kind regards, John McKay.

Came here with friends and had a fabulous meal. I recommend that you book a table as it is always busy when we have been here. We were served by a lovely friendly lady called Tracey. She recommended the king prawn starter and it was amazing. There is a good wine list and puddings menu you need to leave room for to try.Good quality food and great prices.

I held a party in the full-on classiness that is @JunctionRedhill last night and can't recommend it enough. I absolutely love that heritage building with its fusion of classic, continental & Thai decor. They did a wonderful sit down Thai meal that was praised by all (all pescatarian/vegetarian/vegan at my request). We had 2 cool dancey retro bands and the sound worked perfectly. It's great having the little separate areas so people can have chill areas, but you can still have a full-on band in the main section. Sai and the team did themselves proud, so welcoming and helpful; thank you, you wonderful people!

Very generous portions of meat. The roast beef was tender and cooked to perfection. Roast chicken with stuffing was spot on and the pork belly was excellent. Yorkshire puddings are home made, huge and delicious. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if roasts are your thing! Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. See you again soon!
