Met some high school friends here this past weekend and found this place to have a very relaxed atmosphere. The food is great, service good and prices reasonable. The only thing is that you had better bring cash, they don't except plastice. I grew up 4 blocks from this place and never visited until I moved away and came back to visit RU alums here.

I was excited to see that a football game was playing on the big screen TV, while I was waiting for My food. Wait a minute: the TV sound is blotted out. Wait a minute: is the sportscaster speaking in Spanish? wait a minute, Country music, broadcast in English, is blaring out any sound that the TV might have been making!

If you want standard corporate Italian fare with a noisy atmosphere, go here. Otherwise, try Luigi's for REAL homemade Italian a few doors down. OK for families or larger groups who don't care too much about quality. Group salads are sparce with items other than lettuce.

We visited for lunch recently. It was after the normal lunch hour. The place was busy, but not packed. We were seated right away and the drink order was taken and served in a timely fashion, but that's about where the positive ends. While our server was getting our drink order, another server asked if our drink order was taken and when we replied yes, he explained the first server was his trainee. We ordered our food when the drinks were brought back to the table. Then we waited and waited and waited some more, for our food to come. Pretty simple order, a salad, a wrap and some soup. Unfortunately, when you're hungry and bored, waiting for your meal, you start to notice stuff. Like the filthy wall you're sitting next to, in the booth and the filthy touch screen on the ordering tablet. Oh, did I mention the sticky floor, when we were walking to our table? When the food finally comes out (or should I say, 2 out of 3 items), the wrap and the fries were cool. There's nothing I hate more then cold food. And the missing item, the soup, came out about 5 minutes later. Really? Soup is the one thing you can't bring out? At least that person's lunch was hot. To be fair, I'm not sure if the problems were with the new server or the kitchen. I do take into account when someone is training, because everyone has to start somewhere. I'm leaning toward the kitchen being the main problem with the cold food, but who really knows. Needless to say, I will not go to this location again.

Service is one of two, great or horrible. Food for the most part is very consistent. As many times As we have been here we have 50/50 service, I wish I could tell you otherwise, we have learned which servers to watch out for.Food is a matter of personal taste, each their own. Nothing to write home about as there is a Chilis in every ones backyard
