Warehouse Bar + Kitchen is more than just a place to drink and eat. Guided by the mantra, high-end, low-key, it is the perfect mix of an intimate cocktail den and a social, comfortable, neighbourhood bar. Designed with an industrial feel, Warehouse Bar +
We were in on Sunday night for something to eat. Nice bright surroundings and a two piece playing acoustic guitars. Lovely atmosphere. Food, just lovely but the highlight of the night was the service from a young lady called Aoife. Her service was very attentive, she was lovely and very funny. I had started a joke about mushy peas and she quietly picked up on it. Let's just say that at dessert time, the joke was on me! It was hilarious, she just made our night. I really hope the manager (we spoke with the duty manager, lovely guy) realises what an absolute gem (s)he had in Aoife. As someone who has taught customer service, I realised it straight away. This young lady would be an asset to any front line business. I hope she gets her just reward.Warehouse, a great place to be, Aoife, the icing on the cake (or peas).

We prebooked (recommend that you do) for 4 on Saturday last. We know the area well so had no trouble finding the bar/restaurant but, be warned, it is quite out-of-the-way with very winding and narrow roads. The table was booked for 5.45 which was only one of 2 slots available. Nice old fashioned bar at the front but the square room behind it is a bit sparse with not very comfortable seating. However, I am being picky. We were taken to our table after having a drink in the 'square room' Starters of goats cheese, prawns were delicious. Unfortunately they were unable to arrange a gluten free version for one coeliac guest who had to make do with a Caeser salad instead. The starters were excellent, despite this. Mains of sea trout, sea bass and bonefish were superb. The sirloin steak for the other guest was HUGE! and excellent. Good wind choice too. Unfortunately I was the designated driver so couldn't indulge in the array of guns on offer. Oh well, definitely on another occasion as I feel we will be back soon. Perfect
Went for a family meal and everyone enjoyed the food and service was very friendly! Fold was cooked to order and only brought out the main meals when everyone was ready! This is a quaint, relaxed pub/restaurant that faces onto Lough Swilley. At the back is a large canopy with views over the Lough and often there is live entertainment here. We ate under the canopy looking out over the water since we had a dog with us. Fortunately it was a balmy evening since the canopy is open to the wind so good to bear in mind what the weather is like if you want the outside experience. Friendly staff and wonderful fish and chips.Toilets inside and a small car park. Better to park at the marina a short walk away. Parking free.

WE have eaten here on several occasions with our Irish friends whenever we visit Letterkenny this night was just the two of us and they had a steak special night on. The place was not as busy as we have seen it on previous times but was a few people eating. GIrl came for order within a few minutes, my husband decided on a ribeye steak with pepper sauce and garlic potatoes, while I went for the Ranch house chicken a chicken breast with onions, bacon and cheese with garlic potatoes also but decided against the salad. Drinks we ordered a pint of Guiness and half a lager and blackcurrant. First time in my 68 years I ended up with a pint of lager and black!! Food arrived a side salad(not ordered) no pepper sauce and husbands steak was sirloin not ribeye!!! We do not like to complain so apart from asking for absent pepper sauce we ate our meal. For desserts I chose cheesecake as most of others had cream which I asked to be left off needless to say it came to the table with cream which we did ask to be taken off. OVerall the meal was good as always apart from one or two slipups.

Having visited The Firebox on a fairly regular basis years back when friends had a holiday home in the area we were looking forward to returning when staying in Derry last weekend. Given that we now have three children this restaurant would normally be out of our budget these days but when checking the website I was pleased to see they still do the early bird two courses for â¬19.99 offer. Being the cautious sort and given that the website may not have been updated for a few years I emailed the restaurant directly and asked if they still did the early bird and if so was it available on Saturdays. I received an almost immediate reply telling me yes it is still on and available on Saturdays until 6pm and asking would I like to make a reservation which I duly did for 17.45.We arrived at the restaurant and everything was as I remembered and we were warmly greeted by staff and given a great table right in front of the âfirebox grillâ. The menu looked great and when ordering I asked what dishes were included on the early bird menu only to be told that it was no longer available and hadnât been for some while. Firstly I remarked that I had checked the website which confirmed this offer was still available but this was quickly dismissed by the waitressed who stated that it hadnât been updated in years and we would have to order off the main menu. I then recalled that I had emailed to confirm this offer was available and had been told it was. The waitress then informed me that we could indeed avail of the offer but I would need to show them email. This created an embarrassing situation as my we were left in limbo not knowing what to do. I was unable to initially access the email as the wifi was poor and the 4g unavailable and only was able to access it whilst walking around the car park in the rain to get a signal. When I returned to the bar I was approached by the senior waitress who told me that even now that I had located the email they would still not be able to honour the early bird menu. She informed me that she had been speaking to the âoutside managementâ and they told her that under no circumstances were we to receive the early bird offer email or not. She was polite and efficient and said she was embarrassed on our behalf as it was clearly false advertising. She brought me to the duty manager who again was polite and understanding and said we should email a complaint to management as unfortunately his hands were tied. This was now very embarrassing as my children were hungry and tired and my wife was very embarrassed. At no time was any alternative offered it was just a case of order off the main menu or leave. I felt that given that we had already had drinks and were sitting in a prominent table it would have been very embarrassing to get up and leave giving us no choice but to order of the full menu and go considerably over our budget.I have no complaints about the food, it was delicious and although over our budget it was reasonably priced and similar to other restaurants of this calibre. Neither do I have any complaints about the staff on duty. It was obvious that they were not given any autonomy to deal with this and their jobs depended on doing exactly what they were told by the off site management. I donât expect to receive any reply or explanation from this review but I see the website still has not be updated so I am merely leaving this as a warning to others to prevent an embarrassing evening.Dear Gary,Thank you for your review. We appreciate all forms of feedback and it allows us to continue to build on and improve our product. I am extremely sorry that you experienced such poor customer service. The premises has recently changed ownership and some of the older offers and promotions are no longer available. I totally understand your position and you should have received what was advertised and subsequently promised to you via email. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this matter with you in person and if you could please contact me at [email protected] regardsClaire

Our hiking group (20 of us) had dinner at this establishment. Our room was set with 2 long tables which allowed for plenty of conversation time. We were offered a special menu that allowed various choices (starter, main and dessert) for our entire group. The service was hopping and smiling the entire evening. I chose the mussels (very good and plentiful), then the sweet cured bacon which was actually a pork chop and a desert made with seaweed. It was a great meal served hot and with a smile. By the time, our group was finished, there wasn't a seat left in the entire place. If in town, plan on the Yellow Pepper

Busy night, music festival and other events going on in the area. Service was great, food quality and presentation were (honestly) pretty much beyond words. The Bridge Bar offers the best steamed mussels I've ever had the pleasure to eat. Perfectly done, locally sourced from a few km down the road, and served in massive bowls. The big surprise; 9.50 Euro for a complete meal.Drinks are more than fair and very reasonable. Popular beer offerings, nightly specials and more. This is my 5th visit in two years, the restaurant really stepped up to the plate. If you're in Donegal and more specifically Ramelton, you MUST give this lovely restaurant a try. Very highly recommended!
