After enjoying a wonderful evening with great food at the Prestige Inn, my husband and I went to the restaurant for breakfast. We met with 3 other colleagues who had already ordered. The service was very slow as the buffet was being prepared, I ordered a half order of Eggs Benny and received a whole order, my husband ordered a Spanish omellet and received the ham and cheese which arrived cool not hot at all. Mine breakfast was on the cold side as well. The server was very good and didn't charge us for everything. It was not her fault so her tip was good. Disappointing to say the least. We've eaten here before and it was good so will try again.

How often does a person get the opportunity to visit a floating pub in the middle of a huge lake? That is reason enough to visit. If you rate this pub purely on its food quality and its prices, it is surprisingly similar to other good pubs. I was expecting to be upcharged due to the fact that it's the only floating pub in the area. But no, it has normal pub prices and the food is great. Good service too. We went there on the busiest weekend of the year so we had to wait about 20 minutes to get a seat but not a big deal when you're on vacation. Parking (the boat) is a bit of a challenge, as you can guess it doesn't take many boats to fill up the available spaces on the docks. It is an open air pub and there were lots of people there who were in party mode so it was noisy, but not unbearable.

Had dinner on the deck.Nice location, very friendly service. However, drinks orders not taken until we ordered food - not ahead of time, which is standard everywhere.Halibut bites were tasty - fries were good.Daily special (half rack of ribs with pasta) was overpriced - skimpy rib portion, no salad.Wouldn't go out of my way.Sorry that your experience was not up to your standards. We strive to improve always

Fun friendly Pub & Restaurant on the upper shores of the Shuswap River. Minutes from Enderby with beautiful patio views of the river and Cliffs. Full menu service and now open earlier at 9am daily!
We make a point of visiting this establishment when we go to our summer home at Mara Lake. We have had quesidillas all over and their's are the best. Actually there isn't anything we have tried on the menu that we have been disappointed. Friendly service, unique setting and great food what more can you ask for.

We had so much fun playing Music Trivia here. We ordered a variety of food that was very good. We had the Pig's Ears, the Brisket Beef Dip which we recommend as"loaded" so it can come with melted cheese, sauteed peppers, mushrooms and onions. We also ordered the deep fried pickle medallions. Service was excellent and so was the food.

Great service, their staff were prompt and friendly. The food was straight up average. We had burgers which were fine, the fish in salad was abysmal.Considering where it is, the prices are unusually high, but they do have a captive audience with the houseboaters.

Iâve always enjoyed the food here! The Greek wrap and Thai Salmon Wrap are delicious!! I REALLY like that they arenât overloaded in sauce. The wings are good- check out wing night....however the saucy ones can be quite saucy Food orders can take a while when itâs busy so keep that in mind when you go. Theyâve got great specials on meals but the drinks can be a bit pricey.

We recently stopped in for a beer with friends and ordered natchos as an appy to share with four of us. However, when the natchoes arrived it was barely enough for one person. Pictures to follow. They tasted great, but we were disappointed with the size and mentioned to the server that she should tell customers that it is an individual serving size. The restaurant has a beautiful setting, but we left quite disappointed. How expensive are a few extra chips on the plate? Especially for $13.50. Our Nachos have recently been re vamped and are a smaller (yet more delicious) portion under the appy section of our menu. In this transition from our nachos in years past we will make sure as per your suggestion that the servers let our customers know. Thank you for your comments.

Whether you are staying with us, just passing through, or are a Shuswap resident, dining out at Jack Sam's Restaurant at the Quaaout Lodge is a great way to treat yourself to something special. Jack Sam's Restaurant is located just off the lobby with a be
We stopped in for a drink and appie . We had the charcuterie, which was awesome and served with bannock . Lots of neat food options in the menus .. Drinks were good . The service was good . And the location is cute .. A great spot in Shuswap or Kamloops. Thank you for making the stop! That charcuterie is a real pleaser, and always evolving as we feature the latest in our cured meats, fermented goodies, and other tasty items all prepared in-house from the best locally sourced produce. We really appreciate your feedback being shared.Thank you-Rhys

Went to this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews, we were not disappointed. The wife had sea food fettuccine, she said it was one of the best she has ever had. The steak sandwich I had was very good, came with mushrooms, garlic toast and fried. The craft beers were great. Will definitely be a must stop every time we come through Salmon Arm.
