Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Punta Arenas. Overlooking the Strait of Magellan, this isolated city in southern Patagonia bustles with windswept trekkers en route to glacier-filled Torres del Paine National Park or an Antarctic cruise. Before transiting, take note of the mansion-lined main square, Plaza Muñoz Gamero; the City Cemetery, with its elaborate tombs; and the Sara Braun Palace and Braun Menendez Residence, a preserved slice of the city's wealthy pioneer past. Daily flights connect the city with Santiago and Ushuaia.

Delicious and well priced - drinks a bit pricey though. Interesting house beer. We loved the Pichanga for two. We also noticed the burgers that others ordered looked amazing.

I don't like the places made especially for tourists. Carioca does not have the claim to offer excellent interior or service. On first sign it is nothing special as most of the restaurants in Punta Arenas. So it offers excellent steak, perfect pisco and variety of local beer.Don Esteban, 73-old years owner, will assist you so everything to be ok for you.And for me that was the best steak in Chile.

A nice place, warm, with a different proposal, perfect to share with friends, family, where you're going to find a lot of internacional cocktails, handcraft beers, and a large menu of wines, all coming from boutique vineyards. All of this, well complement
A very nice spot for dinner and have a few drinks Good and modern atmosphere, and food was very very good.Seafood pizza was amazing (can't remember the exact name on the menu, marinera or something similar)

Came with friends here. It was not busy as it was Monday evening. Pleasant music and relaxed atmosphere. Vaina is becoming less popular in Chile but in Punta Arenas it is still going strong. Good vaina and pisco sour and tasty fish and meat tablas. The meat was very soft and the scallops with cheese were good. It wasn't particularly cheap but I would recommend these dishes.

On our first night in Punta Arenas by the time we got to the hostel and freshened up it was close to midnight. Having just completed the W Trek we wanted to let loose a bit and have a drink or two and get some food. The very nice hostel owner thought for a bit and then directed us to this place. It was a Saturday night so all the young folks seem to be out and having a good time. Music is blasting and smiles all around. Took us awhile but we finally got a table and ordered drinks and pizza after some hand gestures and pointing (it was obvious that tourists are not as frequent here which is a good thing). We were there for probably 2hrs and the power cut off a few times, presumably due to the music (and all the speakers) blowing out the fuse. But the lively atmosphere didn't get dampened and we really enjoyed ourselves. This definitely helped us to reset the hiking mood and get into the city mode for the remainder of our trip!

Currently it works daily as an extension of our Shackleton Bar and its menu, and we have a daily menu of three-course at lunch and dinner, for another service must be requested with 24 hrs in advance, we can book a prearranged menu. At the Braun mansion,
A smallish room but clean and perfectly adequate. Helpful reception. Reasonable breakfast (though not too exciting) and was taken aback to see waitress filling up fresh fruit bowl with pineapple while pushing back the other cut fruit with her bare hands. Also found a fly in my raspberry juice (which I hadnât drunk!). Central location and most âsightsâ seemed to be within walking distance. Sara Braun palace was part of the hotel building and could be visited through the hotel.

Went here due to good tripadvisor reviews. We had their local beer and it was good. The kign crabs dish was expensive but good. Their ceviche was tasty. Nice place to hang out and have their beer. Its just infront of the square.
