Bar and bar food. Down by the harbour, upstairs above some shops. Nice for people watching. Entertainer good fun. Bar staff friendly and they have the nicest loos around. Place was quiet when we arrived just looking for a nice place for a quiet drink but the bar soon filled up and the evening turned out to be much more fun than we were expecting.

From tasty English breakfasts served from 8:30am to delicious fresh and juicy Steaks, cooked by our professional chefs, the Barbacoa Restaurant has something for everyone. We offer outdoors and indoors seating arrangements with panoramic views across the
Only about a 5 minute walk from hotel Riu and the Altamar, will get you directly into the Europa shopping centre with the Barbacoa restaurant and bar being the first large area you encounter if walking from there. Has a typical Brit / Irish feel to the place, with a nice cosy setting and friendly staff. The outdoor area has a large TV for sporting events along with a (free) play park, pool tables (2 euro's) and paid activities such as trampolining, wall climbing etc. It's an ideal place to go for a meal and a few drinks especially with young families if you want to sit for a few drinks outside. A pint of Amstel was only 2 euro's, though not sure if it's an out-of-season deal or not, but did make for a very inexpensive 'few' drinks while the kids played at the park in full view and safety. Didn't manage to get the Sunday roast - apparently the only place on the island that lets you select your own 'carvery', but did hear positive things about this and the breakfasts, so review based on drinks, service and facilities, but entertainment and food may prove a stronger rating overallThank you for your review, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with us at Barbacoa and hope to see you again sometime.
