Visited with friends and had great time. Menu selections varied enough that one wonât have a problem finding something to please. The Shepherds Pie is delicious. Very good beer selection on tap. Service is efficient, pleasant, and helpful. Great English Pub atmosphere. Pricing about what one would expect, moderate. Worth a try when in or near Petersbugh.

A Celtic themed sports pub serving food, fun, spirits and sports! âA Cold Beer Never Looked So Good.â
Weâve never been and weâve decided that once is enough. We wanted a place for a quick bite that would allow the boys to see a baseball game. Our waitress, MeKayla, was TERRIFIC! Thatâs the only reason we rated this visit average. We asked to be seated outside as the air conditioning was too cold & the atmosphere was def not for our son. (Our bad choice of restaurants). Once the hostess moved all the beer bottles & ashtrays off of a table, we were seated, right in the middle of a cornhole tournament. The participants had parked their truck in the middle of the parking lot and had very loud music. MeKayla was extremely accommodating when we asked to go in and found a perfect table in front of all 3 games. The menu was only average and we struggled to find food we enjoy. Though, our son enjoyed the Pub Fried Egg Burger. My belief is that the hostess was trying to be accommodating for our initial request of seating but a warning of the tournament would have been nice. Also, with the owner sitting in the corner, âobservingâ, I believe he could have asked the tournament guests to respect the other restaurant patrons.Thank you to MeKayla, our one bright spot, for making a bad situation, better!

Freda Mae's is a new restaurant in South Petersburg, Virginia, offering authentic american cuisine, served up with warm southern hospitality.
This place has been on my list to try for a while because I have heard incredible reviews from so many people. Well, they were right! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. They have a good menu with several unique burger options. I went with the Frickle and my wife went with the New Kid On The Block. Mine was really good but next time Iâm going to get the NKOTB burger because that was phenomenal! I think things are reasonably priced. Itâs nothing extravagant from the outside, but donât let that deter you. This diner should definitely be on your to-eat list!

My hubby and I came here for an early dinner/ late lunch. It's easy to find a good table around 3 or 4 because they don't transition to dinner until 5. That's when the crowd comes. The lunch menu has a wonderful variety of sandwiches, burgers, wraps, soups, salads and paninis. I chose a chicken cordon bleu panini and pasta salad. Portions were great and the meal was delicious. My husband and I split a huge slice of cheesecake drizzled with caramel after finishing our meal. I highly recommend this place for people of all ages until 6, after the crowd should be more mature as it turns more into a bar after.

It's a western themed dive bar. It's a good place to just relax and have a few beers. They also have events like line dancing. I give it a very good rating because they have awesome burgers. Their bacon cheeseburger has real crispy bacon and it is delicious. That's really all that makes this place stand out. It is what it is and there's nothing wrong with it.
