We visited in the evening for a meal. The table was by the window with fantastic views over to Fife. The food was lovely and will be back. The fish starter sampler is worth trying.

Have visited on several occasions but this time the meal was less than satisfactory. The supposedly home cooked Sunday lunch consisted of slabs of cold dry beef, instant mash, yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes from a cheap freezer shop. The selections of seasonal veg consisted of a handful of frozen peas which hadn't been properly heated up. There was hardly any gravy and no English mustard. For £8.99 per person, this was a disgrace.

This is such a cool pub! We kept coming back. Great place to hang out and have a beer at night. We went back for lunch and the haggis was so good. You must have the steak, too...with truffle fries!!

Nice breakfast. Although Groupon didn't specify that the voucher only covered the small breakfast. We weren't given the choice of how we would like our eggs done, so they came fried. The tea and toast weren't included and we were charged £8.50 for 2 cups of tea and 2 slices of toast each.Nice, but paying full price makes it too expensive.

Had a beautiful meal here tonight. They catered well for gluten free. The prawn cocktail was very nice served with gluten free bread. Tandoori chicken and rice was absolutely gorgeous too and was also gluten free. Hubby said the beef with roast potatoes creamy potatoes carrots and Was beautiful and enjoyed it very much.We certainly love coming here for meals and have so far not been disappointed. Only disappointment comes with the lack of straight toilet seat on disabled toilet. Please , please get it fixed. With that said though we will be back no problem. But just fix that little problem.

Mid week lunch. Limited menu, we ordered a soup and a vegetable burger. The soup arrived within seconds, my friend had finished it before my burger turned up, awkward eating experience. Soup was good and seems homemade, burger was the opposite. Too many other nicer places to eat in East Lothian.
Back again for dinner on Father's Day, as ever warm and friendly welcome from our hostess. The ladies opted for the cream of onion soup to start and I had haggis bon-bons. All were delicious. For main courses we had sea bass special, spicy BBQ chicken and Brig burger. All well presented, prepared and extremely tasty. No room for dessert, might have to forego a starter next time. This is extremely good value, better than standard pub fare. We, of course, will be back.

Called in with my daughter for lunch and we had a great time. Food was fantastic and staff were great and chatted as they worked. Both staff serving weren't kids and they would have put the kids to shame, they were busy but we're lovely with little diners and they just worked together beautifully. The food was great and freshly cooked. We both had pasta which was divine and hot and bubbly which is my perfect meal. Definitely worth a visit. We loved it. X

The Prestoungrange Gothenburg was established in 1908 and still continues as a bar and restaurant to this date. There is also a microbrewery attached, which produces some of our own real ales served from casks. We have a varied menu that changes regularly
Went here with a friend for lunch, ordered steak and ale pie, the pastry was burnt, and the steak was more like stew as it had carrots in it (which wasnt mentioned on the menu) I had mash potatoes with this which were lumpy. My friend had fish which she said was lovely, maybe mine was a one of, but it has put me of trying againGood afternoon,Thank you for your review. We pride ourselves on trying to offer quality service and food. Our steak pie is our number one seller so I am a little disappointed with your experience. Was this brought to the attention of a member of staff at the time? I am sorry that your food was below our usual high quality and I would like to let you know this was indeed not the usual and I would like to ask you come for food again and hopefully your experience is our usual high standard
