The food here is remarkably good. We went there on a Monday so were offered the pizza special. I like pizza but couldn't believe it would be much good for the reduced price. However, I gave it a go and I'm glad I did as it was delicious! It was on a nice thin crunchy base, a good size and one of the best tasting pizzas I've had for a long time. My partner chose a pasta dish which was a very generous size and so tasty that he ate too much!

We had great burgers handmade with delight by the chefs behind the counter. There is a courtyard to eat in or you can go to the seating at Richmond Hill Brewing Co for a beer to go with your burger. Great place to grab a lunch.

We enjoyed a light lunch of bockwurst , potatoes and lots of mustard in this quaint and cosy eatery. Although it was lunchtime, mid-week, the pub was well patronised, but unfortunately service was oh so slow! I had an opportunity to nose around to while away the time and found, on the wall, a framed piece of the Berlin Wall... makes for an interesting change from the steins and the embossed plates and the old musical instruments from the Fatherland!

For a busy long weekend Friday lunch, with the Splash Festival bringing crowds to the area, this was the worst eating experience ever in PE. 25 minutes for our drinks to arrive, 45 minutes for our food - 8 minutes later we eventually went to find cutlery ourselves. Many tables around us just left as were not served. No manager on duty; few staff (that did their best, so they are not the problem, but lack of any concern by owner/management). Food has become expensive for rather basic pub fare.

Go to this establishment on a Tuesday night for their quiz. I always order Cajun chicken pasta and have never been let down yet. Staff are always friendly. Highly recommended.

Known for its wholesome selection of hunger-buster burgers and locally crafted beers, I was pleasantly surprised to also have the choice of a selection of hearty, healthy Buddha bowls. My friend and I chose the salmon Buddha bowl (also available with tuna, chicken, fillet, or just plain vegan), and we were presented with the freshest, largest bowl of pure yumminess! Great value for money at R85 per bowl, packed with cous-cous, lettuce, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, brussel sprouts, beetroot, avocado, and your choice of protein). The daytime fresh sea-breezed vibe, seated at one of the balcony tables was the perfect setting for my sea-deprived Joberg visitor! Not avid beer-drinkers, we opted for a glass of Tranquille, a perfect pairing for the dish, and ambience of the day!I love the shabby-chic Balinese-style decor of this beach-bar with its wicker-wood loungers and colorful string of lanterns. Itâs quite hard to believe that this very bar that seems to cater for the older crowd in the day, transforms into a nightclub, catering for the younger crowd, at night! The loungers are swept aside, and the dining area becomes a dance floor after 10 at night.Great location, great food and drinks, and great atmosphere, will ensure that this place is a keeper in a very volatile restaurant market in this particular spot in PE!
