Restaurant Rozika was recommended me by local... and it was the best choice. We had lunch there - all ordered meals were very tasty (seasonal meals with chantarella mushrooms) , their size was really big, waiter was kind and helpful. Unfortunately, I was unable to taste their choice of wines (driving :-( ), but my wife liked it very much too.Great place to eat, best recommendations!

"Stari Hrast" is a cult BBQ restaurant in Čakovec. With legendary burgers, pizzas and bbq ribs adjacent to the restaurant is their own brewery "Lepi Decki" and a brew pub that works from 6:30 to midnight on all days.

We visited two times this week. Both times we were met with very good service even though the first night was their busy quiz night and we didn't have any reservations. The food is good and plentiful, and at what we consider very affordable costs. We tried grill plates, burgers, Bosnian burgers, pizza sandwich, ribs and the different appetizers. The only thing we didn't find very good value for money was the hedonist Burger, which was pretty expensive compared to the rest of the menu. The beer is homemade and very good, the radler is even better. And again... Very good serviceSeven satisfied Danes x2Thank you Klaus! Expected more from food, but good selection of craft beers, especially Bevog. Perhaps I should try regular burgers (as other guests mostly did), but we had Deetz Duo chicken (nothing special) and pulled pork burger (better, but still average). Anyway, menu is wide, next time will try other offerings. Staff is nice.

It has an amazing location in the middle of Lent in Maribor. You can really enjoy the views over the river as well as the city soul. Probably the best location in Maribor. Unfortunately I do not know why they call themselves a wine bar, the selection of wines is so poor it is almost embarrasing, they have only 4 different types of red wine. It is a shame, because this part of Slovenia offers some really good wines and they should offer them.

Patrick’s pub has a great atmosphere. You can order good food and various beers. I enjoy watching football/basketball games there. But the service is slacking sometimes. Some of the waiters don’t pay attention enough to customers and are unfriendly sometimes.

Went there with my girlfriend on Labor day when all other restaurants were closed. Absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend burgers which are delicious. Really a hidden gem in the home town. Very good. Be sure to taste a local pumpkin seed oil with backed bread or on salad also. Melas are very tastey, salads good and srvice fast despite crowd. Offers average pizazs too, not bad but nothing to be loud about. I have also superb taste for cakes and sweets, and this place dissapoints, while cakes are really just some colored cream with no real taste. same goes for ice cream.Outside terrace, but in high seasson especially over the weekend expect crowd or no free table. A small playground nearby. 10min walk from old town Ptuj. You can come with a car also, while they offer big free parking.So jump in for a good lunch or dinner.
