After our visit to the Villa del Casale we wanted something to eat, and in the "centro storico", old parts of Piazza Armerina we found this restaurant, near the piazza Garibaldi. Excellent Sicilian food and wine, no "tourist menu", friendly and helpful staff. We had kids with special requests which they fixed easily. Recommended!

Gestito da una famiglia al completo, due genitori e tre figli maschi, il locale ha tutte le caratteristiche di un pub. Si può gustare dellâottimo cibo, ben preparato dal papà cuoco, accompagnato da ottima birra , dei più svariati tipi. Lâatmosfera al chiaroscuro è intima, allegra, a volte arricchita da ottima musica. I frequentatori sono in grossa maggioranza giovani, che nella serata si incontrano per stare insieme, ma anche le persone più grandi apprezzano lâambiente ed i prodotti. Consigliato

If you are in Piazza Armerina, you should at least once visit the sesterzio pub.Originally it was a pub, where you could have drinks, have some french fries or panini and enjoy the music- karaoke or live concerts.In the past years , it also became a restaurant , you can have pizza here or still get some french fries and panini and stuff. My advise to you is, don't expect too much from the food, it's cheap, might be good for some, but it's not the best. You should definitely visit to have drinks and enjoy some of the events ,especially those organized during summer.

Caffè dentro i locali della vecchia stazione.Fermati in comitiva per un break serale.Ottima accoglienza del personale, che ci ha subito trovato un tavolo all'esterno e, nonostante avessimo ordinato cibi e bevande di diverso genere, birre, patatine, gelati e calice di vino sono arrivati contemporaneamente.
