Julie and sue are thrilled to invite you to the seven stars inn at the centre of the beautiful village of Flushing. With much experience in running cafes and restaurants in Falmouth, Julie and Sue came over to Flushing in 2009 where they acquired Flushing
Lovely though it is, Flushing's waterfront is mostly inaccessible on foot, being lined with properties. But there's a small gap between buildings on the main street, giving onto a little beach and affording a lovely view across the water from the inn, which has a row of tables and chairs outside on the pavement. This is a small, traditional Cornish pub that does a good trade on a sunny summer's day. I sat out the front drinking lagers and enjoying the peaceful ambience and view. Glad I dropped in.

Had a pleasant meal here on the first night of our stay in the area and have been back for a drink a couple of times since. Food is good, honest pub grub. Very tasty and good value. Nice selection of beers and ciders. Best pub in Penryn (although not a lot of opposition)!

Pub with locally sourced, high quality food. Casual dining; order from bar but then waiter service. Eat in our dining area, bar, al fresco on the patio or on our covered balcony, enjoying the exceptional views for which we are renowned.
We visited here as we were stating across the road. We had fish pie, which was lovely but slightly salty, a children's meal and a burger which was great. We also ordered mussels which were the best mussels we have had here in Falmouth. They were all open and fresh and the classic sauce was thick and creamy. The views are great but toilets could do with freshening up. Hi,Thank you for the kind words and weâre glad you enjoyed your visit. We plan to upgrade the toilets this winter, so we hope to get 5* on your next visit! Beat regards,The Boathouse

Ate at the Royal Standard twice during a week's stay in Flushing. Great cooking every time - lovely veggie and classic options, plus an inspired, Spanish style fish stew. Friendly service and wood-fired pizzas in the garden on a Friday. Dog-friendly in and out.

The Cutty Sark has an informal pub style dining area on the upper level as well as more formal restaurant on the ground floor that is also available for private party hire.
I booked a table by phone and was surprised to find the Pub restaurant almost empty. We were worried whether this was because the food was not up to much but were in for a surprise. The roast lamb with vegetables we ordered was lovely and rich, very tasty.Quite a different experience from other Sunday roasts in town recently, which haven't been up to scratch one way or another, from lukewarm or uncrispy roast potatoes or swimming in gravy. We found out later that the Pub had only just restarted offering Sunday lunches.Definitely worth another visit or two.

Seas the day at The Working Boat, a proper pub on the water-front where you can sink a few on Cornish time whilst admiring the view across Falmouth harbour. With fifteen beers and ciders on tap including our own Working Boat brew, moor up and cruise in fo

We are a local, country pub that offers a good selection of drinks and serves pub grub that's great quality and value. We are family and dog friendly.
We both decided to have something from the two meals for £12 from the lunchtime menu. However, this wasnât just one course; it was any two of starter, main and sweet. We chose the belly pork and I have to say that it was fantastic. The pork, which was a very large piece, was cooked to perfection. The profiteroles that followed were also lovely. The Trelowarren is a fabulous village pub with a great atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Anyone finding themselves in the Falmouth area really should check out the "Trelly".

In Falmouth to visit the Maritime Museum and decided to have lunch here. Very pleased we did! We both had roast beef (sadly for my husband lamb wasn't available) and it was delicious, served pink just how we like it. Accompanied with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and parsnips, mashed carrots and swede plus a bowl of cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage in cheese sauce. Highly recommended and remember to book as they were very busy. Looking forward to returning!Hi there and thank you for your kind review. We're all delighted to see that you enjoyed your visit to the Kings and we greatly appreciate you taking the time to give us feedback. We do apologise that we were unable to offer our full regular choice of meats due to a supply issue but this has now been rectified so your husband will be able to enjoy a lamb roast on your next visit! We look forward to seeing you both again very soon! The Kings Crew

We chose this gastropub at the last minute as we had unexpected visitors from a France . We were not disappointed . It was a very busy Saturday evening in Falmouth town , as the local oyster festival was in full swing , and the town was buzzing . We were greeted on arrival and quickly shown to our table by a member of staff . He brought menus , and a wine and drinks list , sat at the table and discussed our wine options , there were loads ,,,,,, We started our meal with a selection of olives , oil and artisan bread , which was delicious . I chose the prawn and 3 bean casole which was sublime. My wife had pork wellington with black pudding and vegetables ,our guests both had sweet potato knocky with a slow cooked rib of beef . All meals were superb , as was the service which was very friendly and very attentive on such a busy evening . I would highly recommend the â penny come quick â you will not be disappointed , thankyou for a super evening , our french friends were very impressed too
