Family friendly, reservations not required, friendly staff, offer lunch and dinner items, and if you love craft beer we are the place to be.
Went here based on TA recommendations but were disappointed. First, it was hard to tell it was open, then even though we were two of few customers, the service was slow and not attentive. They did get busier, so I think the one server was overwhelmed. The IPA with their name on it, was good, but mostly itâs an OPB (other peopleâs beer) place. The nachos were very good and had a clever presentation. Juicy Lucy sliders were pretty dry-good thing they provided au jus. I think weâll try other beer places in Corning.

Burgers & Beer of Corning is a casual quick serve restaurant with a warm welcoming atmosphere for date night dinner, lunch time escape, catching up with coworkers after work, or watching a game with friends. We have a wide range of tasty burgers - always
I stopped here with a few friends for a meal and some suds. The atmosphere resembles too much of its predecessor and nothing of its own style and take on their name. That started the night off to much more of a dismal ending. First off: The bartender is your server. Fair enough, if it weren't too busy. Luckily, we got in late enough that only the bar itself had patrons. We sat near the window overlooking Market Street. It was a beautiful night and many people were enjoying a stroll and fraternizing multiple establishments within the area. You have to go up to the bar and place your order. Food came ... Annnnd here we go!-First off the menu: "Chicken Strips" These are the absolute WORST "chicken strips" I've ever had to ingest. They are mushed chicken that you'd get from a Tyson bag from the frozen section of your local grocer. formed into strip shape. The outside tasted of old stale oil/grease and the color was akin to an over-tanned Miami, Fl. native 40yrs too long in the sun. Yuck! Just yuck!-Next: "Poutine Fries" The only thing about these being Poutine Fries were the potatoes. The fries were a heaping soggy mess of limp sadness. The cheese curds were nowhere near curds. This was a weighted blanket of melted nothingness. The gravy wreaked of Heinz brown gravy straight out of the jar and microwaved ... Salty to say the least. I tried. I honestly tried. Unfortunately, that ~$8 was a waste of money. - Lastly: The burger. I got the jalapeno cheddar cheeseburger with extra jalapenos and some bacon. Not a bad burger; not an amazing burger, either. It was simply a burger. When the first name of your establishment uses such claims, one hopes to have delivered what would be the best damn burger on the whole strip! From Radisson Hotel to Wegmans, one should expect this place to knock your socks off regarding a burger and that unfortunately was not the case. The bartender was kind and attentive. That's the only reason I gave it a 3-star review. Had she been like them chicken strips, easily, you'd be sitting at 2-stars without question. Burgers and Beer - step up your game.
a weekly stop for us.....the wings are awesome. The Country Pub 2 is a neighborhood bar. The staff is very friendly. The prices are reasonable. The Prime Rib special is good. Sandy and Debbie are great. We always have a good experience at the Country Pub 2 !!

They make some really great chicken wings here and Monday they have a special on them. Of course Fri is the Fish fry, although available all week long. This place is hopping busy during peak evening hours, up until 8:30 or so. Lots of soundless tv's playing sports and other stuff. We did try the French Onion soup this visit, expecting a really good version of it, and we can honestly say this was the worst ever FOS we have ever had, grossly over salted. Topped with Parmesan, what were they thinking, yuk. Guess it appeals to some, never again. The server said it was her favorite and went with her direction.Love the peanuts, shells go to the floor of course.Outdoor seating available. Limited parking in a small lot, but thee is the street.

The breakfast choices at this restaurant are very good. The poached eggs with salmon and wilted arugula and prosciutto were well-prepared and delicious. My wife had the poached eggs mornay and was very happy with her choice. The fast, friendly service was most welcome. It was so good to have such tasty and different breakfast selections. The serving sizes were not so large as to be overwhelming. They were adequate and just right. The presentation was very good.

Just arrived in Corning and were making our way around Market Street on a beautiful Saturday afternoon when we stopped into Mooney's for an afternoon snack and drink. This was our first time here so we headed upstairs to the bar and were promptly greeted by Olivia. We ordered wine - a Malbec and a Riesling from Wagner's - and they were superb. So much so we had a 2nd round. We also ordered the Spinach & Artichoke Dip which was one of the best we ever had. Not runny like others we've had over the years but creamy and thick - yum. The app took some time to arrive on a seemingly not busy Saturday afternoon but it was worth the wait. Nice place, service was excellent and overall enjoyed our brief stay. Clientele was good, no rowdy folks so we decided to come back for dinner next time we are in Corning.

Stopped in for lunch today and sat at the bar. This is usually a good way to sometimes chat with the bartender and locals. Waitress/bartender was quite unfriendly and didnât seem to want to be there. She performed her basic duties.Brisket sandwich and chicken sandwich, both very tasty.Good place to eat but in a small town that is known for its friendly people, this server did not fit this picture.
