This restaurant opened last Thanksgivingish and is still finding its groove. This was the Duckhorn Vineyards dinner. First course, poached lobster was luke warm and did not have much flavor. Paired with nice Chardonnay. Second course, duck breast. It was cooked sous vide and also did not have much flavor. We asked for salt and pepper. Paired with their Sonoma Pinot. The third course was more creative and called a cheesesteak. A piece of tenderloin (cooked perfect and very tender) with onions, peppers and a some cheddar. It was the best and paired with their Cab. Dessert was a Pot de Creme and was so-so. The place is big and plain and noisy. IT is plainly decorated and has bad glassware. The service was spotty and the wine pours very small. Our waiter was actually a little gruff and miffed when we complained. They ran out of all the wines so that is always disappointing. I don't like food that is not hot so they lost my vote. I expected more for $150 per couple. There is a nice bar scene and an experienced local bartender named Dave.
Very conveniently located inside of the Oak Brook DoubleTree. You get the bar experience without having to leave the hotel. Service is friendly. Wings are good. And the house Chardonnay isn't bad! There are lots of TVs with different live sporting events. There's plenty of seating, even though the venue isn't very large. There's also a full menu, so there's more than just bar food to choose from, but the kitchen does close at midnight.

I occasionally meet a client at Brick House for a couple of drinks and a short meeting. There are tables along the back wall which offer privacy. The drinks are reasonable, we have yet had anything to eat from the Brink House. It's basically an up scale sports bar.

Service was pleasant but slow. Food was typical - nothing special but not bad either. Plenty of sports screens. If staying atnthe HolidaymInn it's an ok place to eat. However, there are plenty of,other choices nearby. Whilst it's ok, I wouldn't return.

I visited during a Bears game (they were being slaughtered by the Saints) and they have an impressive number of flat screens all around the place (not just around the bar itself). They also had a number of well-known IPAs available and a food menu with standard bar fare (plus better entrees too). I went with an order of their Zinger wings (hottest sauce) and they were just OK (a little on the dry side, truth be told).Service was fine and prices were inline with places like this.Hey, GoneOffTheGrid! Good choice with many gluten free options on their main menu too. Thanks for leaving us such a wonderful review. We are thrilled that you loved your experience. Have been here multiple times, but the first time eating inside. Service is good and efficient. This place has good, and upscale bar food. the Ahi Tuna tacos are great. Another at our table had fish & chips which he also said were good. We continue to go back. Looking forward to when we can eat outside again and their patio dining is quite relaxing.

I hadn't been here in a while. When a friend chose it for a get together, I didn't remember it as having great food, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had a special, Georgia Chicken Pecan that was excellent; tender, great flavor, generous portion. The garlic mashed potatoes and the carrots and green beans were delicious. I would definitely recommend this dish. Service was great.
