Went with a group of friends. We had a reservation but still had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. We had requested to be as far from the live music as possible because we wanted to talk but we were placed directly in front of them. In their defense, the restaurant is small and cramped so there weren't many options for seating any way. We were missing silverware and a chair when we were finally seated. The menu has changed to all BBQ. The food was ok but not phenomenal. Their spicy pickles are interesting though. Service was spotty. Prices were reasonable but not great for what you got. All in all, disappointing for me. I went a few years ago when it was more of a burger pub and enjoyed it a lot more.

Been going to Skippers since early 90s. Used to be a good place for food / pub grub but has gone downhill. Other places in town make this not a desirable place.

This place is awesome! Been here twice and the second visit was even better than the first. They've expanded their already incredible menu. They have several beers on tap and a wide selection of bottled beer as well. The wait time is generally on the longer side, but it's definitely worth the wait! Can't wait to go back!

We tried it for the 1st time the other night. You definitely need a reservation to dine inside on the weekends. The roasted garlic they bring to the table with bread was really good. They have beer on tap. The food was ok nothing overly special.

Old-Fashioned Charm, Updated By Joanne Starkey New York Times For over half a century the Old Fields Inn has been a fixture in Greenlawn. Known for its marinated steaks, it was the place where the Kiwanis and Lions Clubs met. When I last visited, a couple
I was here for a private event. The appetizers (fried calamari and pita bread with spinach dip) were good, as well as the entree (chicken over rice). But the Caesar salad was way too lemony, and the chocolate mousse dessert was a little bitter. Also, as other reviewers have said, it's very noisy. But the service was good, and they did not rush people out of the restaurant after the party was over.

We visit family in Long Island every year. Iâm so glad they chose to take us to Seven Quarts Tavern to meet up for dinner and drinks with friends. It was our first time dining here. The restaurant has great vibe with a very cozy feel. We sat downstairs close to the bar. When we arrived, we were greeted by one of the owners, Brian, and we were promptly seated. We started with the duck wings and crab cakes which were both flavorful and delicious. My husband and I shared the Slow Braised Short Ribs and Mac & Cheese for dinner which I would definitely recommend. Everyone at our table really enjoyed their meals and the service was on point! From start to finish it was a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back again.

Having lived in Northport on and off for 60 years I've seen a lot of restaurants on Main St. This care, although very small has always served really good food. It's pub food, but good quality. There might be a grilled salmon sandwich or a pasta shrimp dish. But it won't be ordinary and it will be tasty and we'll executed. It can get very crowded so we prefer lunch over dinner for that reason. You'll never have a bad, meal here.
