The place offers the insane, unpredictable vibe of a stock market. The difference being that instead of betting on stocks, we bet on drinks! The prices keep fluctuating based on the demand of the drink and are displayed on screens at all corners. You can
I went to the Pub exchange and to my surprise, I found that the lower price was fixed which means that even if nobody was buying a brand, its price would not fall. But if only one person ordered a drink, its price would jump up in no time. A win-win situation for the pub.Not really how a stock exchange works. Besides, I found it to be too noisy for a business discussion. One would have expected that a place like TGI Fridayâsâwhich makes much of its bar, and which seems to be frequented (at least the one time we visited this outlet, late on a Sunday afternoon) by couples, would not have much to interest a little kid. We had no very great hopes that our toddler would fine it an entertaining place. Butâpleasant surpriseâour daughter was the one who enjoyed herself the most. First of all, she got a high chair (which is what she likes), and secondly, she got a goodie bag which came not just with the colouring paper and crayons most restaurants offer, but with something Iâve never seen any other eatery offer: a little mechanical plastic toy cow which trotted smartly along when wound up and had a tinkly little cow bell around its neck. This was such a big hit that it helped our usually picky eater get through her entire meal pretty easily.TIGF offers a wide range of American dishes, all the way from chicken wings and ribs to burgers, steaks, pasta, pizza and more. Thereâs also an array of beverages, both soft as well as alcoholic. My husband and I both zeroed in on the same main dish: glazed pork belly. Since this comes with a choice of either cheddar mashed potatoes or Creole rice, we decided to order one portion with the rice and the other portion with the potatoes. Also, the corn on the cob which is also part of the dish didnât appeal to either of us, so we asked our waiter if this could be changed to something elseâfor instance, sautéed vegetables, which he agreed to do. For drinks, we ordered a watermelon juice (for our daughter) and a âgold mango margaritaâ (mango pulp, lime juice and soda with lots of crushed ice) for me. The gold mango margarita was refreshing and nice. The watermelon juice was obviously fresh and unadulteratedâit had that slightly insipid taste of fresh juice from a fruit that isnât exactly in season! Our daughter decided she didnât like it, but we finished it off. The glazed pork belly came, each portion with a large serving of sautéed broccoli, green beans and strips of red bell pepper besides the mash/rice. There was also a small bowl each of extra glaze, which was welcome. The mash was good and buttery, the Creole rice mildly spiced and a good backdrop to the pork. The vegetables were done just right, but the pork itself was a little lacklustre: it was a little too tough (definitely not âfork tenderâ, as described on the menu). Still, it wasnât bad, and even our daughter had her share happily.Very expensive (we paid Rs 3,178 for what was a fairly basic meal), but at least this was something our toddler enjoyed, so that was worth it.

The interiors of the place is definitely admirable but the level of service is quite poor with untrained staff. Also, they dont have most things shown in the menu. It is exorbitant in terms of pricing and can easily burn a hole in your pocket if you order beyond 2 3 basic items. I would suggest to check out other places in vicinity than burning money here for an average experience.
