Many restaurants at the Belgian coast seem to have decided that removing a maximum of shrimps from their shrimp croquettes is the best way to contain their costs; it might but it is also very likely to make their customers unhappy; this place did exactly the opposite, continuing to make excellent croquettes full of shrimps...exactly as customers want them. Well done!

Een nieuw restaurant in Nieuwpoort. Een mooi interieur, met smaak ingericht. Tafels staan niet te kort bij mekaar, wat je aan de kust vaak vindt. De kaart is beperkt, maar wat we aten was heel lekker. Mosselen waren lekker. De vol au vent was vers gemaakt, met veel kip. Zeer smaakvolle keuken. De prijzen zijn redelijk. Wij gaan zeker terug.

A lovely location on the square at Nieuwpoort, ideal for a relaxing drink or meal. The terrace was pleasant and the service very good. Everything is well presented with cake and advocaat served with hot drinks and little snacks with beer. Intend to go back and try the food as the meals looked very tempting.
