A great place to grab burgers, fish tacos and a beer. They have a huge selecton of beers on tap. There is a nice back room if you want to hold a function. The food came out quickly and the portions were decent sized. We ate here twice for business.

Decided to try the price rib special, soup or salad, prime rib & desert at one low price the onion soup was great the peanut butter desert was fantastic. The meat was just ok. My wife order medium rare and I asked for very rare. Our server brought it out and my wife was medium well and I got an end slice and was told that was the rarest piece (impossible as an-end canât rare). Both went back and later my wife got a medium piece and I got a rare piece but not as rare as I expected. As I had taken medication prior I settled and ate it. Our server apologized canât blame her if the kitchen doesnât follow orders

Went on rainy cold Saturday night and figured would be packed. Pretty dead at 8:30 so I was concerned. A friend told me food was good. They did not answer the phone (straight to voicemail) several times that I called before we left - wanted to make sure it wasn't too busy. Anyway, waitress said "You're right, the phone hasn't rung!" Too bad really since I do hope they stay in business!! This place was recently a boring Italian restaurant. They have made many good changes. I would expect most in the area would find this a nice corner pub and upscale brewpub type of place to frequent. Calamari was very good. Burgers and salads also very good. Meat temperature perfect. They got our specific requests all correct. Wines, etc were reasonably priced. I would encourage management to trim down the nightly specials from 7 options to 3 - keep things fresh and streamlined. I really do hope this pub stays in business. The front windows that open completely for nice weather will be amazing during warm weather!

Funky place with interesting beers--live music, comedy events--one side of the building is a giant garage door that is left open, so you feel like you're outside even though you're under cover. Corn hole and board games available. plenty of parking. Check out website for special events.

New to the area, I took my lil' sis to dinner at this place because it looked like a decent place. We sat outside (summery August evening) and had to wait 15 minutes for our waitress to come around and take drink orders (she only had one other table and we watched and the couple from that table sent food back to the kitchen). Feeling a little uneasy, we decided to hang in there and give the place a chance. When the waitress (Laura B) took our order, the place mats she put down in front of us when she brought out our drinks had food on it and my set of silverware was dirty. Not a stellar start to the evening. I decided on soup and salad because it's hard to go wrong with that fare. WRONG. My soup was cold and my lil' sis' steak chili dip with nachos on the side came with only a few nachos. We asked the waitress to heat my soup up and bring us more nachos. Soup came out the same and she never did bring the nachos. My sister then had mac-n-cheese which tasted off (sour) and my garden salad came (which was pretty good), but there were never any refills of our drinks (per our request after we finished our apps), which remained empty. After that, we didn't see our waitress again until after I asked another waitress to bring our check. No wonder why the couple from the other table left in a foul mood. Needless to say, this is not a place I would recommend.

Like the above reviews, it was a nightmare. I figured Chefâs did not show up. Had reservations but waited another hour. Waited almost one hour 45 minuets for the food. Tough to do with 4 kids with us. Also, they ran out of numerous things.I was disappointed as i heard it was a good restaurant at a different time.

Sports Pub located in downtown Sandy Hook, CT with a wide selection of great food, craft beer and specialty cocktails.
This was a return visit with our grandkids. Once again all I can say is they have the best burgers in the area. Yes, it is a sports bar, but it is really appropriate for any age patron. Both grandkids had wings and said they we great. We will go back when in the area again. The menu is varied and there is a great beer selection. Parking is plentiful. Service is always great.Thank you so much for the kind words! We hope to see you again soon!

Had lunch of fish and chips. $17.99. Fish was very fresh and well cooked. The french fries were excellent. They cole slaw was disappointing. Would have liked a luncheon menu in additon to the dinner menu. It was not busy when we visited, but the waitress was extremely hurried. Tried to take a plate before we were finished eating... rushed leaving the check and credit slip. We asked if she was anxious for us to leave.
