We went here on a recommend but we will not be recommending it. Because of large groups on a Friday we had to wait in a very noisy bar and the lights kept flickering off and on and stayed off for moments at a time. This did not instill confidence in the establishment. Then we had our order taken at the bar and then they sat us a table. Very unusual. I had the surf and turf. It was made just right, so they redeemed themselves. My husband liked his food too. The prices are reasonable too. We had a very nice server. So pros: food and service. Cons: the bar [unless you like that sort of thing] and the lighting situation

Their sirloin steak with maple/whiskey glaze might have been the best steak I've had in my life. The new owners were out and about in the dining room to introduce themselves and be sure everything was up to snuff. I found that a nice touch.

We visited the brickyard in August. The service was good but the food was just average. I had the fish fry which tasted like processed fish patties. The waitress also could not tell me if the seasoning on the French fries contained msg which I am very sensitive to. My husband had a burger which was very thin and overdone. My son in law ordered the chicken tenders which came with three very small tenders. Not enough for the price. My daughter had the steak and shrimp. The steak was very fatty and overdone. We would not go back here

We had a house pizza there on the 4th of July. Fresh ingredients, good service and atmosphere. We'd definitely go back!

Holy cow had some burgers from here after years of living just down the street and they were amazing!!! And the price is great too... 6 bucks for burger n fries...
