The street view of the Riverview Hotel does not tell the full story of what lies within, at the back of the building is a fabulous deck and restaurant which serves up delicious, well portioned meals with stunning views over the Tweed River. The restaurant was doing a great trade on the Sunday that we visited for lunch, popular with motorcyclists and couples. There were plenty of choices on the menu for our group of three, we enjoyed our meals of fish, chips and salad, beef curry and pan fried barramundi, chips and salad. Service was friendly and prompt, meals and drinks were well priced.

The renovations are beautiful, so proud to show off my club to friends visiting my town. The food is great & very well priced. Great balcony overlooking the lovely river. Love that they serve lunch early. The atmosphere is so relaxing in the lounge area.

Had lunch here about 2 months ago, and am still thinking about the steak I had here. As someone who does a fair bit of corporate entertaining I've had my fair share of steaks, and this was right up there. Not often you get that sort of quality at a pub. The restaurant was also surprisingly pleasant with a great view and nice breeze off the river

I was attracted into this little esoteric cafe, (wee bit hard too find) behind a garden center, by the alluring $6 "pumpkin scone Denonshire tea". The scone was delicious but the "cream" was of the compressed airbottle variety which I do not class as the real deal. Still the setting is restful, the limited range of food on offer inexpensive and the soundtrack being played just the right beat. Pleasant place to while away some time relaxing.
