On a cold and wet night six family members from out of town enjoyed dinner in the dining room at the Golf Club. Bar staff helpful, children accommodated well with kiddies meals, and adult meals were all very good, and included chicken breast on mash, seafood pie, nachos, ribs and hamburgers. Wine by the glass and soft drink all good, with parking at door, and no lengthy wait for meals.

An ambient three venue hotel consisting of the balcony bar (cocktails and burgers bar, nightclub on Saturday night), The beer garden with a Kids playground and Dining area (2 floors) Accommodation available!
Food was bland and cold, Irish stew was tasteless and Guinness pie was cold and dry fish and chips ordinary so disappointing Bar staff unfriendly unless you male.Sorry to hear that Gail, weâll be looking into this today with both chef and the bar staff that were onCould you please email us your contact details so we can call you back : [email protected]

I say hides gem because when researching places to eat on our stay it did not come up. We were told about by the operater of the wine tour company we were with. The pub is old fashioned place not done up fancy like some but the people there including the owner were lovely and the food old style country pub cooking which was great. Recommended.
