I was a frequent patron of Joey's when I lived in Williamsport; recently Joey sold the place and the new owners turned half of it--most of the old bar & restaurant--into "505". They still served the steak subs and homemade fries that were specialties at Joey's, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Unlike Joey's, it's pretty upscale-looking, with a fancy arced bar. The service was excellent, but it certainly should have been, as I was the only diner for most of the time I was there. The steak was not at all your standard cheesesteak--the meat was a bit dry and was oddly seasoned. The fries were also very oddly seasoned and not like what Joey's--or any other place I've been that has fresh-cut fries--were like. The menu was not as varied as Joey's, but the prices seemed quite reasonable for an upscale place. I will probably not return.

Like to look at posters of men? This is your place. Not sure why there are no pictures of women like most bars.

Welcome to the Genetti Taphouse! Located within the Historic Genetti Hotel & Suites. With a recently renovated bar and restaurant, we offer live music every Friday, and Saturday as well as great drink and food specials!
The bar staff are super friendly and made us some great Irish coffees. There is outside seating so pet friendly too!

We had burgers and fried fish and they were both good, hot, and inexpensive. Lunch fish special was $9.99 with shrimp and macaroni and cheese and burgers are $6.95 with fries.

We stayed at Hampton Inn so this was within walking distance to the hotel. It is a Sports Bar and was very cold inside. I had wings and salad. Lots of sauce on wings and very fatty. Service okay but given number of patrons not that fast, would not eat there again.
This not a a bar to eat in at all. It is dark, smelly, and it is for drinking......The local bar flies hang out their, you see the same people in their all the time. (Drinking only) AND EVERYONE IS ALWAYS TO SHADES TO THE WIND, IF YOU GET MY DRIFT! So, if your looking to sit a get drunk fine, other then that go some where else...............

Left the Little League World Series early one day because it was so hot. Decided to grab a quick drink and some food at the Bullfrog brewery. Our meals were excellent the beer was delicious in the brewery was family and kid friendly. If youâre in Williamsport I would recommend this stop. They also offered Little League trading pins from the brewery. Made my nephews day as he is now a collector at age 10

We tried to stop by one night but couldnât find it. Located in an alley. Kind of hidden but worth finding. Food was very good. Cocktails were great. Also sits across the alley from the cutest bakery.

Strong recommendation for this establishment. âï¸ pub nachos were awesome. Shepherds Cottage Pie finished off the meal. Full size portions and smaller (Wee) sized too! Sorry no pics...we were so hungry we forgot to take pictures.

This place was recommended by the proprietors of the B&B where we were staying, and it was a good pick. Food is good and not overpriced, service is friendly. The place does seem a bit worn but is pleasant enough. All in all, if you're looking for a casual meal, you won't go wrong here.
