First visit after 10 years and not much has changed. $15 steak night, $5 pitchers of beer special last night. We ordered fries and they were great. Fun atmosphere, locals and more college students as it gets later in the night. Darts and great music.

Past. Present. Delicious. When Executive Chef Brad Spates joined the team in June 2018, he summed it up perfectly; The Peppermill brings past and present together, creating an intimate, vintage dining experience unlike any other. Bon Appetit!
We gave it a try and found it to cramped and overpriced, not what I consider upscale unless a twelve dollar hotdog meets your criteria lol. Won't bother to go back.Hello there,Thank you for giving us a try. We'd like to clarify that we offer TWO hot dogs, made with local 100% pork & topped with the locally famous "Hag-Mart" sauce, slaw, mustard, onions and a side of house-made potato chips for only $12. It's a very large portion size and great quality for a great price. Best wishes,The Peppermill

We hit Martinsburg around 12:30 and the parking lots of most restaurants were crowded. We opted for Chilis because there were fewer cars. Should have been our first clue. We were seated and there were 3 other tables occupied. We ordered our drinks and then waited a while for the server to take our order. My friend ordered a burger and fries. The food arrived quickly. Her burger was good but the fries were cold and stale. They brought her fresh ones which were actually hot. I ordered chicken and shrimp fajitas. There was no taste to the meat, the tortillas were soggie and stuck together. The rice was burnt and the tomatoes, cheese and sour cream were running together. I made a salad with the meat , cheese, etc. The drinks were cold and the fried pickles were hot and crisp. So it was not all bad but I probably won't go back.

Greeted and seated quickly, even with a full house, typical decor and menu, clean and comfortable. Server was great and was accommodating when we made some menu changes. Instead bread and fried chicken, we asked that the chicken be grilled. The salads were fresh, generous and filling, ice tea was good also. Would return.

I posted the 1st review on this place. We continue to drink and dine there and are still very pleased. Wings are great and in Thursday's they drop price to $.45. We've been in steak night as well (Wed and Sun) and its perfection. We have never had service issues. The owner Stephanie and most of the bartenders recognize us so we always get good service and tip 18%. We will be inviting out of town friends there in the next few weeks.

The 1878 Historic McFarland House has been fully restored and modernized - the house and gardens beautifully reflect a bygone era known for its vintage charm and endless elegance. A coupleâs wedding day is one of the most important days of their life and
We went to the Renaissance Dinner. I had expected recipes and dishes from the 14 and 1500s. While many of the ingredients were those used back then, the dishes were of today. That said, we did enjoy ourselves. We met several other couples and it was quite enjoyable. The food was good and the service excellent. Before each of the six servings, the chief came out and explained the next dish. We will try another dinner, so don't let this review scare you away.

Breakfast buffet consisted of: scrambled eggs, hash browns, pancakes, bacon, sausage, biscuits, chipped beef gravy, grits, cold hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereal and pastries. The food was good, but the best part was the enjoyable conversation with the dining room attendant - who serves juice and coffee.

The exterior is plain, but the inside is extremely clean and decorated with the hip hillbilly in mind. There are specials everyday, and the food is packed with flavor. They know how to cook a steak at the right temperature. There is a variety of food, beverages, and bar items that will please anyone in your party. I am glad I tried The Copper Still Pub & Grill. Itâs a comfortable, friendly place that will make you want to return.
