Discover Restaurants offering the best Pub food in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, United States. Yes, getting there is a bit of a project. But vacationers have been braving the ferry for years, and this tiny island off Cape Cod remains one of the most popular and picturesque destinations in New England. Among the island's towns, you're sure to find the Vineyard that's right for you. With stately Greek revival houses dating back to the whaling era of the early 19th century, Edgartown is a seaside village of boutique shopping and pristine harbor views. For more of a "beach town" feel, Oak Bluffs has the Flying Horses carousel, an arcade and an easy walk to the beach, plus the history and charm of the "gingerbread" houses in the Methodist campgrounds. Vineyard Haven offers visitors a blend of both. For a real retreat, Chilmark/Aquinnah is the place to get away from it all. In the off-season, the island is quieter and far less crowded, but the shore is always beautiful. Whenever you visit, leave your car behind! Cabs are plentiful and greet the incoming ferries to help you reach your destination. Most visitors prefer to explore the island on a bicycle, scooter or tourist-friendly public buses.

The Oyster Bar 02557, located on Martha's Vineyard, is a completely renovated beautiful new restaurant on Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs. Serving an array of oysters, with a seafood-driven menu featuring local ingredients and their own produce, specialty co
To start with the positive, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and decor. It has a little deck for outdoor dining. Inside it is a bit loud with the music but they did turn this down. The oysters were terrific and were $1 each during happy hour. The shrimp cocktail was very good, but the oysters Rockefeller need some tweaking of the recipe (not enough flavor). The restaurant is new and the chef I am sure is still working through the menu. The mains we ordered were disappointing and expensive. But diners who ordered the PoâBoy and fish and chips seemed happier with their meals. The desert was very good - homemade by the wife of the chef. So come for the oysters, consider a light meal, but give the place a bit more time to settle before you invest in the more expensive dishes on the menu.

The Ritz is located on historic Circuit Avenue, in the town of Oak Bluffs. It was established as a bar and cafe in 1944. Today, it is truly an iconic venue; rich with history, legend and lore, 70 years in the making. The Ritz is a combo #livedive and #gas
Wouldn't have gone n here if it hadn't been recommended as the exterior isn't very "obvious" but so glad we did.The food was good hearty pub grub, the cocktails were good and the entertainment was magical. Jonny Hoy and the Bluefish - with some great cameo slots from Rose from behind the bar, Sabrina, who just came in off the street, did a couple of fantastic numbers, then sat down and a couple of others from around. We felt like locals. We were made to feel so welcome and part of things - didn't quite have the confidence to get up and dance but plenty did and a fine time was had.If it's posh nosh and romantic candles you want, it's not for you but I would strongly recommend you give it a try

This brewery is right next to Sharky's and Donorama's in Edgartown. Very unique feeling atmosphere. There is inside and outside seating as well as a gift shop. The beer is very good, the food is average but hits the spot. Service is good. I would suggest this if you are on the island.

Let me set the scene. Take 1. Multiple Layovers. Take 2. A little rickety, loud 8-seater Cessna plane. First restaurant choice as a first-time on the island. Fish and chips was AH-mazing. The unexpected surprise was the Manager. If youâre ever in Edgartown youâll have great food at the Wharf and be in the company of a real-down to earth celeb! Best lunch conversation EVER!

The Offshore Ale Co. restaurant and brewery is open for lunch and dinner year round on Martha's Vineyard, with award winning beer and food, Offshore serves up good cheer and something for all tastes!
We walked by several mostly empty restaurants before finding this one. The place was hopping, the staff knew the regulars by name, and the waiter was very familiar with the food. My partner had a lobster roll that was recommended and it was a great choice. I had the special, skirt steak in a rice and bean bowl that was very tasty. Now I wish I had the recipe so I could make it at home.

Owned by local guys who care about the local economy The Port Hunter is a great addition to the Edgartown restaurant scene. We were three for dinner and I had fabulous cod fish tacos while the other two folks enjoyed the Vegatabowl. Each dish was prepared very carefully and was very fresh. The food was delish but the service was at yet another level. The staff is attentive and everyone has a job. Our waters running low, someone is right on it. Dishes need to be cleared, again someone is right on it. Food coming from the kitchen, there are two folks whose job is it to wipe each plate and make sure it looks professional. Want raw oysters, there are two people at the raw bar keeping it fresh and ready all the time. At one point we were curious how low our waters could go before being refilled, they never got below 75%! And it was not to the point of being annoying, it was professional and very well done. They do not take reservations unless you are a party of six; we were three on Monday night and got right in, but we did see lines later in the week. We will return for sure!

First visit to Martha's Vineyard, my friend's son and her native islander daughter-in-law took us here for drinks and dinner. We were a good-sized party of 7 and a baby. The Bloody Mary with shrimp was fabulous, not too, spicy. The New England Clam Chowder was delicious. Our waitress was delightfully entertaining and very efficient. There was good island ambiance, a great view of the water, and the music was at a perfect volume to be able to hear but still have a conversation. Will go again on our return!Weâre so glad you enjoyed your visit to our restaurant . Thank you for your review.
