Marsaxlokk (Maltese pronunciation: [marsaʃˈlɔk]) is a traditional fishing village in the South Eastern Region of Malta, with a population of 3,534 as of March 2014. The village’s name comes from marsa, which means "port" and xlokk, which is the local name for south east. The word is related to the name for the dry sirocco wind that blows from the Sahara, comparable to the equivalent Catalan word, "xaloc". The village is known for the Marsaxlokk Market, a large market which takes place around the whole village on Sundays and tourist market all days during the week. The inhabitants of the village are called the Xlukkajri and are historically fishermen.

Steaks, Burgers, British dishes, Fish, curries,
This place has excellent English food specializing in roasts, yorkshire pudding and also offers various types of English culinary recipes including desserts. The place also offers Indian food and also is cooked fresh.Unfortunately however, this place runs with skeleton staff (at least at the moment) and service takes long. I think the place needs more kitchen staff and at least an extra waiter due to the extended menu that it offers.

Clean and freshly prepared food from quality ingredients. Service was amazing! What we had and highly recommend is the quinoa salad, chicken with vegetables and cous cous, a bean soup with truffel served with crackers with a bean paste on top of it. The bean paste is super tasty! Our dessert was typical maltese one: vanilla ice cream with dough filled with fig paste and all together indeed fits perfectly.

At ''Wild Honey'' you can have Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.Come and have a Coffee or a Drink in the fascinating atmosphere of the streets of Valletta.Friendly people & sweet laughs accompany the evenings of live music.
Only seems to be open in the evenings and with a seating capacity of around 15 it is ... well, quite cosy. Decent choice of Belgian beers and quite a good selection of spirits. There is food (but I didn't look at a menu). Rock/Blues music and not a biker in sight!. Splendid!
