I visited the Green Crocodile at the end of an expedition trip around the Sea of Okhostk. The restaurant's decor is fascinating and likewise the food. Local produce is offered and is beautifully prepared, cooked and presented. Some of the Russians off our ship were visiting that night too and told us that it definitely was 'the place to eat' for visitors to Magadan.

I stumbled across Buter Bro while walking back to my hotel after a stroll down to the bay and it turned out to be an excellent find. Although the menu is only in Russian someone appeared at my side almost immediately offering to translate for me. I have no idea if he was on staff but his English was excellent and he knew how the dishes were cooked. I had a slow cooked beef dish that was more Texan than Russian and absolutely delicious. It came with the option of fries, mashed potato or grilled green veggies. I opted for the latter that were equally delicious consisting of lightly grilled zucchini, red and green pepper and onion. The cafe has a beer menu but I chose a well made Americano instead. The coffee and food were delivered quickly. The cafe is spacious with a modern feel and very reasonable prices and is definitely recommended.

Tastey food is served here with great atmosphere. English speaking staff and English menu are helpful. Short walk from the cathedral.

I liked this hookah bar before, but now I would never go there. And I don't recommend to you to visit this place. Pandora Lounge had quite good food, but now it's more like average. But the service. The service is very bad, waiters were cheating with my receipt. They tried to steal my 40$, and I feel that was not a mistake. They argue with you all the time. It is disgusting.
