Located in the heart of Berwyn's Depot District, Lavergne's is the local spot for amazing food, local craft beer, craft cocktails, and friendly faces. With 20 beers on draft, 45 in bottles, and a hand-crafted cocktail list, Lavergne's selection is sure to
My family lives within walking distance of Laverne's. There are many other places to choose, but we choose here most of the time. The staff are warm and inviting. The food is traditional american with a little twist on the prep/presentation. Our favorite is on Tuesday...for the taco special.

As a neighborhood staple of the Berwyn Community for over 19 years, we strive to provide our guests with more than just another tavern experience. We feel that it is our obligation to share our passion for art, quality entertainment and great beer. Youâre
The owner here has installed a two way mirror that allows him to view ladies in the ladies restroom. My original attempt at this review quoted published comments that were made by the owner regarding this issue. Unfortunately that violated Tripadvisor's posting guidelines because the owner is a foul mouthed person who spewed a string of profanity when he was approached with legitimate privacy concerns. That should give you an idea of the type of person you are dealing with here.If you want to support this owner and his behavior, then go ahead and patronize this place. But if you are not into exhibitionism, then avoid this place at all costs.
We have met extended family members here and have always had delicious pizza with the beers. I really enjoyed the Kentucky Common. Light taste, but good substance! We've been to a few small breweries and most do not have any food. It's worth going just for the homemade woodfire pizza. It's been a great find for us!

Palmer Place provides restaurant services for the La Grange, IL area
Palmers Place is a wonderful restaurant right I the middle of Downtown La Grange! It has great food and almost unlimited types of beer. Service is perfect, Located the restaurant almost 30 tears ago!One problem with Palmers Place, ITâS TOO GOOD!!In good weather even both inside and outside areas are open and usually full, WHY? BECAUSE PALMERS PLACE IS TO PERFECT!
An authentic Irish pub. The owners are from Ireland and brought it to Berwyn. Right at the Harlem Ave. train station it is convenient to travel without risk from over indulgence! They pull a great pint of Guniess, which is a skill mastered by only a few. Worth the time to stop.

Had a very nice experience at JCâs. It was my first time but my wife and her brother were old-time customers. The ambiance in the dining room reminded me of Wisconsin supper clubs, which is a great thing! Relaxed and casual. The service was excellent! Forgot his name already but he was server 152, great job. Friendly and efficient. Food was very good too. We had a couple of appetizers while waiting on a pizza. Fried calamari was the best Iâve ever had and Iâm 64! Fried mozzarella sticks yielded long stringy cheese accompanied with a sauce for dipping. Pizza was great and loaded with cheese. Iâd go back any time to sample more of the large menu!

We just had lunch here and it is a dirty pit of a place! With all of the Irish Pubs in Chicago and its suburbs that this place was chosen by " Irishcentral" as one of the best in the USA means there is something drastically wrong with their review process. Chipped wood on tables, dirty floors and walls, decrepit woodwork. If the owners are trying to put some sort of authentic look to the place they have failed miserably. We've been to many pubs in Ireland as well as Illinois and this was by far the worst ever. We all had corned beef sandwiches and the food was average at best. Needless to say we won't ever be back and would never recommend it to anyone. If you are looking for nice Irish Pubs just go a few suburbs west of here for far better choices with clean well cared for surroundings and much better food.

Stopped in for lunch after visiting Brookfield Zoo. Friendly staff greeted us and we were told we could choose inside or out. Having been outside all morning we decided to stay in, but the outdoor patio looked nice. Our server was great and the food was very good. I had a burger and fries, and my husband had the shepherds pie which he said was wonderful. Would not hesitate to stop here again if in the area.
