I've been to the Jack Russell brewery in Camino, which I highly recommend, so I looked forward to the Placerville brewpub/restaurant. It was a nice evening, so we sat on the large shaded patio, which was very pleasant.I saw a Help Wanted sign on the door, and I had read several TA reviews commenting negatively on the service. Well, they've somewhat eliminated that issue, at least on the patio. One orders and pays on the cash register kiosk, then takes a number to the table and the drinks and food are delivered. That's the first time I've seen that outside of a McDonalds. Interestingly, when paying, the lowest tip percentage that's suggested is 15% - you'll have to decide whether you think service still deserves 15% when you're entering the order yourself (you can override it with a manual amount). Nevertheless, the system was easy to use.I was looking forward to an IPA, but unfortunately they were out of the one IPA they brew. Oh well, I enjoyed the Irish Red. Our beers arrived promptly. I love good fish and chips, and theirs was excellent. The Mrs. enjoyed the day's special, the unlimited taco bar.Prices and the outdoor seating were fine, and service was fine too, if limited.2 thumbs up, but frankly, not enthusiastically.

All our food is Hand crafted using the freshest ingredients available from our Brick oven Pizza, to our 1/2 lb Angus Burgers and Sierra Nevada Beer Battered Fish & Chips to our Sandwiches and Salads. All of our sauces and dressings are made in house. New
I've eaten here several times, they have the best salads in Placerville. And great value. Also dont overlook the sandwich and pizza, also excellent. I highly recommend this place. And for Icing on the cake, the owner is in the house helping customers every day.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Prompt service. Atmosphere is pleasant. I ordered the shredded beef taco salad which was fresh and wholesome. My sister ordered the fajita salad with beef and chicken. My husband ordered the beef taco. Our only complaint was with the beef. It was very salty. Otherwise our meals were pretty good.

Found this place looking for breweries in the area. Surprised at small parking lot and relatively small facility, away from central Placerville. Oh, what a gem of a beer menu! Food outstanding as well - it has great burgers, but veggie-friendly too. I had a veggie sandwich that was BLT + avocado + onion, on the best multi-grain bread I've ever had! Wasn't at all crowded around 3pm on a Friday, but as we left it was getting busier.

We had been up the road panning for gold and we were all hungry. We saw this place while driving by so decided to stop. Glad we did. The food was excellent. I had the cheeseburger it was really tasty. Two others had the sirloin steak sandwich. The other person had the fish and chips. All the food was cooked fresh while we waited. The waitress was nice and friendly. The prices are really good as well. We were sitting looking out the window watching the hummingbirds drink from the drinkers. If we ever came back this way we would definitely go back.

My spouse and I went out for Easter "Dunch", and it was great! He ordered the BLTA, which came on toasted sourdough bread, a bit too buttered for his taste, but the bacon was thick and not fatty, and the avocado pieces were big. He had the side of sweet potato planks, which have gone up since our last visit in November ($2.75 extra), but still were good, tho too much salt. I ordered the Hula Hog Taco, under the small eats, and they aren't small (this is a positive statement). Delicious sauce - chipoltle, and the flour tortillas were hand sized and there was oodles of pork, and I was full after eating it. We also ordered a Beer flight, 5 choices, and what fun and what a great way to taste some of the beer. Their choices in all are about 16 or so, so 5 x 4oz gives a good variety. We tried the Kino Hefe from Crooked Lane, the West Coast Wheat from Napa Smith -both of these were light beers, not bitter, and not strong tastes, but good, the Danish Red Lager from Figueroa Mountain - very good!, the Gneiss Stout from Solid Ground - tastes like a Rauch Beer from Germany, very smokey! and then the Old Town Brown from Auburn Alehouse, my favorite! not too strong, but a very nice taste and not too much alcohol. Emily was our server, and did a nice job, was sincerely friendly.

We had sandwiches for lunch. There were four of us and we sat outside in their patio area. I loved their vege sandwich. Others liked their sandwiches too. Staff is awesome. Since the sandwiches are large we had left overs. The Halloween decorations they had were super cute.Overall, great place, good prices, and awesome staff.
