Although this isn't the most modern or spacious pub in town, it's reasonable and clean, and blessed with superlative, prompt service as well as what must be the fastest kitchen in town as the food appears literally within a few minutes of ordering. This level of speed in the kitchen is a double edged sword as I had an absolutely delectable huge beef taco salad with the perfect mix of fresh and tasty ingredients, and a rich and hearty edible tortilla shell that still has me drooling. But... the bad part is that the lettuce was incredibly gritty to the point that I had to spit out one out of every three or four bites! What an absolute crying shame to have one of the great taco salads of all times made inedible because someone in that superfast kitchen didn't wash the lettuce. I know it's hard to find good prep cooks but the management should drive home the point with them that unwashed lettuce is not only gritty and inedible, but can also harbour germs that can make patrons very very VERY sick!

It's an OK pub. I ordered a beer, and the waitress brought the biggest glass of beer I have ever seen! Luckily for me, she was willing to exchange it for something half the size. My chicken burger was palatable.

I go to the Owl for the trivia contest run by the Public Library. It's a lot of fun & something I look forward to every month. Members of my team usually meet there a little early so we can have dinner beforehand.I've had a really good grilled chicken burger with avocado & bacon. I'm always tempted to try one of their creative poutines, but chicken out instead (bad pun intended...).The thing I really like about the Owl is the atmosphere. There's a good range of ages there on trivia night & everybody is friendly. The art, that is also for sale, is probably my favourite thing about the place.

I was very pleasantly surprised by every aspect of this place, starting from the very prompt, attentive and professional staff, to the condition of the location which is quite clean and well kept. The biggest surprise was the food as the portions are sizable, the quality very good, and the price extremely reasonable. The hot beef sandwich was a huge pile of fork tender beef over delectably charred toast covered in wonderfully tasty gravy. The spaghetti's marinara sauce was lip-smacking good, and of course the pasta itself was overcooked but I can't fault this chef too much as it's standard to boil pasta to flaccid limpness in every restaurant in Lethbridge with the possible exception of Georgio's (please, area chefs, look up "al dente"). With a few minutes less in boiling water, this would have been a five star meal!

service was great, waitress was friendly and efficient. I just donât get it with the food though, why does everything have to be spicy? I like spice options, but not for every appetizer. Is poor quality ingredients trying to be covered up? Makes me wonder. The Korean chicken was good but the thick slices of cucumber were unnecessary; maybe wafer thin slices (with wafer thin sliced radish) pickled similar to Kimchi instead?!Nachos were okay, again nothing special (would never pay $20 for them at original price, was $4 off shareables). Spicy tuna roll was good. Mojitos were on special, and both the mixed berry and traditional were well made. Another One of many Lethbridge restaurants I would not take visiting friends or family too.

Went out for a group dinner on a Saturday night. Food was very good, I wouldn't say excellent but very good. Had the Front Street Hot Dog and it was tasty but so sloppy it needed to be eaten with a fork and knife. Biggest surprise was how it turns into a club atmosphere as the evening goes on. Becomes absolutely packed, wall to wall people, line ups for the washrooms and a waiting line outside. Considering how busy it was, the service stayed pretty good and consistent for the time we were there. All in all will be visit again I'm sure but if you're looking for a quiet pub on a Friday/Saturday night, this isn't the place. If you're looking to go clubbing with maybe some crowded dancing on one of the smallest dance floors ever, it might be up your alley.Hey there, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. The Ball Park dog is definitely a messy hands-on experience, we always have more napkins for back up if needed! There is a literal night and day difference between mornings & nights here, we try to offer a bit of everything. Thanks again, hope to see you back in again soon!

We arrived early as we heard they sell out of the Sunday English dinner. The service was great. Start to finish. The food was as expected, very good. I have been to London downtown area. This is close to a traditional English dinner, canadianized a bit. The only down side for me was the meat portions varied between the 3 dinners. One was heaping, one about a 1/3 rd less and mine the smallest of the 3. We were hungry and didnât want to wait longer. I will go back it was extremely well presented and flavourful. Thank you for your great review! I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed your Sunday dinner and appreciate the feedback on the portions. We will look into this and correct it immediately. See you again soon!

We were here for supper, I had the beef dip, my wife had the lasagna, my daughter in law had chicken tenders and the son in law had the steak sandwich. All the meals were great. And the dessert was very good. Mud cake and ice cream.
