J'ai souvent l'occasion d'aller y déjeuner, et ne suis jamais déçu.la carte est bien faite, le service est hyper sympa, rapide et le patron veille gentiment à tout.

Nous cherchions désespérément un endroit où nous arrêter pour faire une petite pause, mais un lundi de Pâques à 18h, c'était peine perdue... Jusqu'à que nous arrivions au Puy-en-Velay et que nous tombions sur ce bar / restaurant "Le Saint-Laurent". Malgré une ville désertique, nous avons était très bien accueilli ! Mon cappuccino était incroyablement bien présenté et l'accueil du gérant très agréable. Un grand merci !

It was Easter Sunday, and not much open,. From the outside menu we chose this place, and were surprised on entering to find it was Indian/European. Lovely decor! Beautiful Indian motif...I wish I took pictures! One beautiful marble table...waitress didn't speak English so she got the chef, who spoke well and knew about Gluten allergies, and assured my wife that it would not be too spicy. We had a white fish with a cream sauce and scallops, and French fries...outstanding! And half a pichet of wine. Thank goodness everything else was closed, because this is truly a hidden gem.

What a find! Go through the Place du Plot and lol to the left of the Bibliotech. Herd you'll find an unassuming bar serving AMAZING trout and local beef. Terrific menu du terroir.Frequented mostly by locals, it's friendly, clean, great value and really good food.

L'établissement est simple et sans prétention mais la cuisine est bonne, faite maison. Le service est rapide et agréable. On ne peut que recommander cette adresse facile d'accès pour un repas de midi, elle permet de s'éloigner un peu des sentiers battus touristiques et de bien manger pour pas trop cher.

This restaurant is situated just off the beaten track in a side street. We noticed it was fairly busy and liking the look of the menu and the food people were eating decided to give it a try. The waitresses were friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic. We made a point of telling the owner how much we'd enjoyed it. Thoroughly recommended.

Ce n'est pas la première fois que je viens déjeuner au Black Pearl...lieu découvert sur conseil de collègues. Pour le déjeuner le service est rapide, le choix des plats du jour très bien, la quantité et la qualité au rendez-vous...le tout pour un prix ultra raisonnable. Bref je recommande les yeux bandés.

Ce restaurant a changé; c'était l'assurance de trouver une cuisine recherchée, très originale avec des mets que l'on avait peu de chance de trouver ailleurs. Pour la suite, la présentation des fromages était une visite guidée de cette belle région et que dire des desserts et de la carte des vins !!! L'établissement a évolué, la cuisine reste de qualité et satisfera ceux qui n'ont pas connu l'établissement à l'époque des frères et soeurs Datessen.

Our first meal as we arrived to start walking the Via Podensis. They wanted to seat us at a tiny table for two (there are only 2 of us). They soon realized why we needed a bigger table!! This place serves local cuisine and we needed a big introduction. Service was fine once he got over the annoyance of the determined tourist! The food came quickly and was well prepared. There were two tables of locals, maybe 10 at each playing some kind of game, having a fine time...not loud. Other patrons seemed mostly local too. Of course we had ordered way more than we could eat, hence the doggie bag. Lunch on the trail!!
