We decided to give this place a try for breakfast. We went on a Wednesday morning and had the place to ourselves. We thought the food was really good and very reasonable. Our total bill came to 21.00 for two of us. I had a make your own omelette that came with delicious home fries and toast. Normally I skip the toast but this toast was really good, probably because it had lots of butter and was done on the flat top. My friend had one of the skillets. She said her was delicious also. We sat in a booth and totally forgot that we were sitting in a grocery store having breakfast. I would like to try lunch there.

Well my friend and I went in this past Tuesday June 13, 2017 around 11:50 am and were greeted by a very pretty bartender who was also taking lunch orders.I ordered the half rack of dry rub ribs and 6 chicken wings with potato salad and onion rings. It also had a small corn bread on the plate. I also had a pint of Sam Adams Boston Lager and a Stella Artois both my beers were good. However my ribs were dry for the most part and over cooked. Some spots were ok but like I said it was not that good.My chicken wings were ordered as mild but they ended up hot, but I liked them anyway. The potato salad and the onion rings were excellent. Now I bit into the cornbread and noticed green inside. I showed the bartender that I thought it was mold. She said it was Jalapeño in the bread. In any case I did not like the corn bread. My friend had the brisket sandwich with potato salad and tried a pint of IPA ale. He said the brew was bad. He told the bartender and he ordered another brand which was good. His brisket sandwich although tender was totally devoid of taste. He applied sauce from the bucket of sauces the bartender gave us. Which he said improved the taste. His potato salad was also excellent. The price for two lunches above was around $51 with tax. However the nice young female bartender was very nice and I tipped her $20 for her service to us.Although the bartender was wonderful the food in my opinion was not that good.Great beer selection but not enough for me to return.Your lunch or dinner may be +/- you may have to try it for yourself. As was said in another review here the place is more of a tavern than a restaurant.

A classic local bar - and great food. Everyone knows each other in this bar - it feels like Cheers. The food is very reasonably priced, plentiful and really good.

I usually avoid hotel restaurants due to overpricing for fair food but I took a chance tonight. I was pleasantly surprised. Itâs small for sure but when you had a long day and donât want to travel any further, and desire excellent food; this bistro is it. Would have got a 5, but service good have been more attentive (see other reviews as well). And a salad fork would have been much appreciated. Dishes I had were fantastic (btw - I did ask for the tuna to be cooked through...)

Went out as a group of 22 and Philly took care of us. Great food, great drink specials as well. The cheesesteaks are the real deal. I suggest the poke appetizer as well as the pretzel bites. Service was outstanding as well. Great place to eat!

We met for lunch. I had the $7.29 duo. Steak and Chicken pasta. Soup was chock full of good stuff and Steak!. Really yummy. My friend had the onion soup but thought it was just OK. It's strange to me, they don't have any soup crackers?? The small entrees in the duo were good but won't fill any of my male friends tummies.

This visit was much improved over the last time we were here! Matt, as our server, was great...friendly and efficient! My husband's reuben was delicious, and my turkey burger was excellent too! This was a new item on the menu since our previous visit. Restaurant fills up fast...so go early for lunch, if you don't want to wait!

Tala is a very solid choice for dinner. My wife and I were very pleased with our choices for dinner. Our salads and entrees were both quite good. I ordered a classic Caesar Salad and that is how it was prepared...in the classic manner. That is somewhat difficult to find. Restaurants now seem to want to over prepare a Caesar with all sorts of extras that are silly. My main course was Butternut Squash Ravioli. Quite good. Service was attentive and friendly. There was a long lag between serving our salad and main course. But I guess that those things happen. I would definitely go back.

Our first time there...busy weeknight. We couldn't get a table on the patio without waiting 20 plus minutes so we sat inside. Every staff member was friendly and acknowledged us... whether they were going to take care of us or not. We had Caesar Salad... lettuce fresh and crispy, dressing good. Then we ate the meat lovers pizza. A little different.... nice thin-ish crust, meats were very good--nice spices and generous amount. Cheese was good and right texture. Could have used more red sauce. We definitely enjoyed though. They have a nice selection of beers both on draft and in the bottle which made my husband very happy.

Situated on a beautiful executive, public golf course, just a few hundred yards off the main road. Open seven days a week all year round. Serving lunch, dinner and cocktails all in our newly renovated facility. A private banquet room for up to 60 people
Had dinner/lunch there several times. It;s the same good quality before they moved off of Rt 7. I haven't tried the ribs again but i'm hoping they are still the same great taste. I would like the burgers to not be patty's but everything else was great. One had fish - loved it, one is a vegitarian - loved the clam chowder and veggie wrap. It has a nice view but sometimes it gets too loud in the big room.
