Loving Craft beer & pizza we had to check out this place while in this O'Fallon neighborhood. We actually drove by it, missed the small black and white sign by the street in a mostly residential neighborhood. Limited parking in front of the building; the laundry next door has most of the spots designated for them. Luckily there is additional parking in the yellow marked spots across the street in the packaged liquor parking lot. It's a small place, a few long tall tables and bar w/ a pizza oven at one end. Adjoining is a great covered area that has picnic tables and garage doors that open during warm weather. Disappointing that their online beer list is out of date. But each table has mini clip board w/ their current beers and food menu items. Beer menu is a good selection of their beers and a few great guest taps (RSIPA by local Washington, MO Deep Sleep Brewing which is very tuff to find!). Their flights are four 4 oz. beers and you can purchase 4 oz. single sample pours to create your own flight or go for a smaller 10 oz. glass or the standard 16 oz. beer. Their wood fired pizza options are single size "paper plate" size and are a bit out of the ordinary. They offer a pizza flight - 2 pieces of 4 different pizzas - great idea! The pepperoni pizza had banana peppers but not enough, just 1 slice of banana pepper per piece of pizza and the sauce was uniquely spicy. The Vampire (lots of garlic sauce) with spinach and 2 cheeses and their BBQ chicken w/ red onion were super yummy. My only complaint is the pizza was served on a cheap paper plate that was too small, tuff to handle, especially when hot out of the oven and became moist & floppy. I get it that paper plates work well to eat from in a casual venue but not to serve on. Service was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our pizza and flights while watching the Cardinals on the large TV out on the covered patio. Can't wait till they open their 2nd location in Defiance!

Craft microbrewery in a 100+ year old former ice house, eclectic historical decor, large outdoor space, creative food partner on premise, non-smoking and dog friendly (outside). 25 taps, wine, no liquor. Laid back, chill vibe. Friends making beer, beer ma
On a Saturday night this joint was jumping! With every table filled, lively conversation everywhere and a rocking acoustic musician on the high stage, this place was so much fun along with having GREAT choices of beers and food made with local available meats and produce. This was a WOW for me. LOVED it and wish I was not just passing through so that I could have tasted more of the food items and sampled more of the beers! With the 5 oz. flights of beer, one can sample many. Loved this as well as the prices!!! Great place!!!

My husband and I decided today for a lunch date and chose Rookies today because of their delicious quesadilla. ..we have brought our kids here before and they get the wings or the hamburgers which they really like..they have an awesome steak night and monthly specialty coupons if you subscribe. .we happen to love the build your own quesadilla. ..you can choose your meats and extra ingredients and it is excellent!! All of the workers are friendly and very efficient and Kim..the owner waited on us today and as always she was on top of her business and super friendly. This place is family friendly. .non smoking on 1 side and they have kids meals and coloring pages and Kim even buys the kids special cups for their drinks. There are only a chosen few in Wentzville and Rookies is at the top of our list. This explains why they had a lunch crowd today with no tables left...excellent service and food! Kudos to Rookies in Wentzville!!
A good-sized suburban bar & grill, Whiskey Styx distinguishes itself with friendly, helpful staff and great food. I've had a good salad there, along with a great burger, but what I'd most recommend is "The Hangover", their version of a giant, over-sized, breaded pork tenderloin. It's delicious, even if you're not like me and a real fan of this (Midwestern?) specialty sandwich. Made in house, breaded, and plate-filling, of course overwhelming the bun (as it customary). Whiskey Styx also hosts live music, sized for their venue, and karaoke one night a week.

Had no idea what we would we find at this location. What a wonderful surprise by the Lake. The Pub outside had live music that rocked (country, bluegrass). The food was reasonably priced and good serving size, drinks also! Locals and travelers in the crowd. Service was excellent as well. And Gracie, my chocolate lab, sends a big thank you to you, Deb, as well!! Thank you!! The Ladies from Ohio
They have just opened their new brewery in the Westport area and will be moving here from O"Fallon next month probably. The beer is wonderful. Try the candied bacon strips for an appetizer. The greens that they serve with this is a real contrast from the bacon! Food was good but the attraction is the beer. I personally liked the Amber Ale and the Smoked Porter. Brand new to the Westport area and very good beer. I would totally recommend going to try their beer. Locally owned and operated. Cannot wait to see what's next. "We Love Beer" they say on the bottle!

We split several apps and all were good. The sandwiches were really good as well. Everyone in our group was happy with what they got and we all ordered something different.I just want to take the time to mention that they have Hot Wings too...and they're good. For some reason, law prohibits them advertising Wings because "Little Caesars", of all places, were there first, and sell Wings. Whaaaaaaa....??? Lol! Shout out to Annie...great Bartender! Keep up the good work...we'll be back!

We reserved the side room on Saturday, 2/2/19 at 4 pm, for a Family of 25 celebrating my dads 88th Birthday. The room was large enough to hold more people if need be. Chelsey and Ashley were our Host and did an Awesome job taking care of everyone from the 88 year old to the 6 month old. They were Very Friendly, Professional, Polite, and Interacted with the group. The Food was Amazing, Exactly as everyone Ordered and served to the correct person with No Confusions. The price of the meals is Very Pleasing and the Quality is 2nd to none. We will for sure be back and telling other friends and family about our Excellent Experience. Thanks again to Chelsey and Ashley for the Great Service, Treesa

McGurk's has all the available Irish beer and spirits and serves lunch and dinner Tuesday-Sunday! In addition to typical pub grub, McGurk's offers wonderful steaks, assorted fish entrees, pasta specialties and several delightful traditional Irish dishes.
We went to McGurk's recently, and had a nice family dinner. Great service and everyone left full, satisified, and content. The one thing they really should consider is adding more Irish Fare to their menu. Some members of our party ordered Bangers & Mash and Guinness Stew and the waiter even commented "Oh, you're going Irish tonight....". That's because it's. An. Irish. Restaurant. The menu online showed there being an Irish Stew, but it wasn't on the menu when we got there. And with all of our family members having been to Ireland, we were disappointed that there was no Shepherd's Pie or Bulmer's Cider on the menu!!Had a great time & a great meal. They just need to add a little more Irish to their Irish Restaurant Menu...
