We were aiming to hit somewhere else given the poor ratings on here. I am glad the other place was closed. The thought of a burger with my wife before we hit the next shop turned into a 2.5 hour lunch that could have gone longer if not for having to pick up the kids. The tavern itself, located in a strip mall, has a large bar as you enter. There are probably a dozen televisions, a few video games, a couple of dart boards, and 10 pool tables with waiting tables for each one. The place was clean but did have that dark neighborhood pub feel. We were welcomed by the bartender and told that pool is free during lunch for people buying lunch. We ordered our drinks and began playing pool. Within a couple of games our food appeared. The bartender kept the drinks full and the food met our expectations. The service was very good, but spread thin so I could see this being an issue if they got busy. Monday is build your burger for $6.95 w/ fries. Mine came with bacon, cheese, sautéed mushrooms, tomato, lettuce, pickles, and mayonnaise. It was very good. They got the temp just right. My wife had grilled cheese and chili. The chili was spicy, but not overly so, and was overall excellent. Grilled cheese is grilled cheese. It was good but it's grilled cheese. This was a good little adventure. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a good meal to boot. We spent almost 3 hours playing pool, and got fed - for a little more than McDonalds prices. We will definitely come here again if in the area.

we enjoyed a flight of local brews, we were the only ones there which we found odd since it was 1:30ish on a Saturday afternoon. Nice atmosphere, typical of a place specializing in microbrews, very industrial warehouse feel to it.

Dog & Duck has changed owners and like many other reviewers mentioned it has changed somewhat. Many favorites are not on the menu any more but the business is still going strong. There is an outside bar and patio area which does allow for leashed dogs, if you care to bring along yours. Inside you have booths and tables but there is often a wait. Parking can also be challenging because there aren't too many spots in the shared strip mall area which also has other restaurants.

After discovering this cool place, we came back here three times in three days! The food is really good, the service was excellent. As well as the atmosphere is really cool We met some really nice people there, and I just could not believe how much less expensive it is compared to the West coast. The outside bar is super fun, (A little hot for us West Coast folks), and our server who we had, who's name is Brittney was really nice, and a lot of fun; she was able to keep a conversation going with us, even though the place was packed. I will come back here again! And Kudos to Brittney!! From her friends in Washington State.

We were visiting our daughter and her family and decided to try MOMO Kitchen. We were ALL very pleased. A good seasonal menu so it changes with the seasons. I tried the shrimp and grits entree. I found it very unique as it is made with pulled pork. I have had many shrimp and grits, but this by far was one of the best. I would had preferred a little less gravy, but that is my preference. Staff was great and very attentive. Appreciate the metal straws too as we want to be mind full of our environment!We will be visiting this restaurant again. It is somewhat hidden where it is located, but donât let that deter you from trying this great hidden gem!

We recently endured Hurricane Dorian. Most homes and businesses closed in order to allow their workers to evacuate. Ale House staff, though limited in numbers, kept the restaurant open in order to keep the thousands of first responders, contract linemen, etc, fed. It was one of the only places that opened in the area, even though trucks couldn't deliver supplies. They served a limited menu, but everything tasted as great as my last trip there. The servers ran nonstop, and though the wait was a bit long, it was worth it to get a hot meal. They really served summerville admirably. Our server was Whittney, and she was very friendly and courteous despite the circumstances.

Great pub with excellent food! Best rueben I've ever had! Salads are huge and tasty! Great service! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was that they had to go to the store to get bitters for the hubby s cocktail but the reward for waiting was a free drink. Highly recommend!
