This restaurant sits next to a channel at Mojiko Port on Kyushu and across from Shimonoseki. It is also just across the drawbridge and steps away from the frequent and fast ferry to Shimonoseki.They brew their own beers here, and have actually a very good Hefe-Weissbier. We got the grilled octopus and it was amazingly good. If we had not had a lunch at the Shimonoseki Fish Market not too many hours before, we would have doubled the order!They also had a nice variety of food items, including homemade suasages.Prices are reasonable for Japan.

The first night in Kitakyushu, we dropped by the restaurant.The smell of skewers was very good but that was all. Chicken skew was very delicious but the rest dishes were so so including draft beer.I think they are just one of restaurant in the area and couldn't find anything special.To be honest, I was surprised by the rating that they received from other reviews.*Please be noted that they charge for the table seats. (Waiter or waitress will inform you of it.)
