My husband and I have been here multiple times and usually have a good experience. Unfortunately our last experience was pour. Our evening began downstairs in the pub for drinks. The service was awkward and uncomfortable as the staff were so new and lacked training. Once we moved upstairs the service improved. We began with a dozen oysters in which was one was bad. I mean really, smelly bad. It was so uncomfortable to try and dispose of bad oyster in a linen napkin. We politely told the server and in the end they gave us gift card for more oysters. But, not only did it ruin our meal, we really couldnât imagine ordering oysters there ever again even if free.

Rockford's serves one of the best Chicken Curry's that I have eaten. Ask for it the way Angela likes it. The wings are terrific, homemade soups warm you on a cold wet day, the pasta and burgers are also very good. They have a nice selection of wines and beers, cocktails can be had as requested. You will not be disappointed. Angela and her staff will look after you.

Visiting second time for the 1/2 price wings Tuesday. First time around was really impressed with the quality of food and service. This time someone else must have been working in the kitchen, or the cook was having a bad day. Fries were a bit soggy and cold, not seasoned all the way through. Wings were also seasoned haphazardly. Somewhat disappointing.
