It is the second largest fishing port in the county and on the island of Ireland. It is located on the south coast of the county, north of Donegal Bay, near Donegal Town. The town is situated at the head of a scenic harbour and at the base of a vast mountainous tract extending northward. This was where we chose to stay while visiting the town. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much bother for any of them.

Drove by and found this street side pub while on a drive tour in County Donegal. I had the sea chowder pie and it was fantastic. The interior decor is tasteful and the hostess is very warm and sincere. Stop in and have a bite at this wonderful restaurant.
