Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Kenmare. The “little nest” of Kenmare is part of the famed Ring of Kerry, making it a prime stop for a spot of lunch and a pint. But before you go on your merry way, check out the area’s Bronze Age stone circle, one of the largest in southwest Ireland. The peaceful glens and streams of Gleninchaquin make a wonderful backdrop for a picnic, which you can work off on a walk along the Kenmare section of the Beara Way.

At OâDonnabhainâs Bar, Restaurant and Guesthouse / Bed and Breakfast we provide you with a memorable experience of food, drink and accommodation. We are located in the hidden gem of Ireland that is Kenmare, Co. Kerry. With an 83% rating on Tripadvisor, we
Very popular with tourists and locals alike. Made to feel very welcome and enjoyed excellent seafood and pizza on both nights. Irish music kicked off about 8pm and range of songs appealed to a broad audience. I thought the beer and food prices very reasonable and all led to two very enjoyable evenings

I went into this pub 22 years ago and it looks the same and I think the same locals were sitting around - a little older...that's a compliment. Not the most outwardly friendly pub in Kenmare but one my father would have loved - He would have called it a working-man's-gin-mill.Be forewarned, however, that is a Euros-on-the-barrel-head only kinda place. They don't want to even know if you have a credit card. Go to the ATM before you go in the door.

The Sailors Bar is located just three miles from the picturesque town of Kenmare on the Castletownbere Road (R571). Come and experience a traditional Irish Bar coupled with great food. We have extensive outdoor seating overlooking the beautiful Kenmare Ba
We visited Sailors with friends last week. The food was quite nice but unfortunately the atmosphere and service were very poor. The waitresses were very slow to take our order and were generally inattentive. Also, our water glasses were not properly cleaned and the empty dish I was given for my mussels shells was filthy. We were very disappointed with the afternoon and we certainly wonât return.

Located in Kenmare Town Centre, The Coachman's Bar & Restaurant is run by the Jones family since 1969. Delicious Irish favourites including Beef ' Guinness Casserole, Seafood Pie, Fish 'n Chips, fresh local seafood. During dinner, some of the finest entert
I'm Irish and was down visiting with friends in Kenmare. The food was fine, nice menu, pizzas, the lot.. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a week day evening, incredibly busy with mostly foreigner tourists and the way the tables are set up almost comes across as a factory line smack on the Wild Atlantic Way... Make hay whilst the sun shines type feel.. The music was not enjoyable, some man singing ballads so loudly I couldn't hear my friends.. Felt like we were at a concert but sitting at dinner tables instead of an audience... Way more 'Irish' pubs to get grub in if you want to feel less of a tourist Won't be back for those reasons only.

My husband and I have been in Ireland for 4 days now. We have been in a couple pubs but are finding traditional food found in restaurants at home, burgers and sandwiches, and of course, fish. We arrived in Kenmare last night and we're trying to figure out supper. We walked into McCarthy's and for the first time in our trip, on the menu was fish and chips and lamb stew. My husband was just telling me that we were Ireland for three days and he hadn't had any mashed potatoes. What was on top of the lamb stew? Mashed potatoes! I had the fish and chips. Supper was so good last night that we decided to return tonight. This time I did a burger and fries and he had a beef and veggie pie with a pastry topping. Again, both were amazing. We have that we are leaving Kenmare tomorrow and won't be able to visit McCarthy's again!

Had three dinners here on a recent holiday. All were excellent and thoroughly enjoyable.Went twice as a 2 and once as a 6. Restaurant was full every evening and advisable to book.I had the chicken and noodles twice and short ribs once. Both were of excellent quality. Desserts are of a high standard too.I'd happily have eaten here every night!Friendly staff too which was appreciated. If I return to the area I'll definitely be back here.Thank you for providing such a great place to visit.
